chapter 13

A/N: i have two chapters finished for the strangers from hell version of this 👀👀 but im gonna control myself and only post it once this book is finished

btw i probably should've said this on my first chapter but English isn't my first language and thats why i don't know the names of some things 😭 like later in this chapter i said "bush thing" because i cannot for the life of me remember what that is called, even in my own language

sunhae picked out the pairs (much to the distaste of everyone)

the pairs being:
onjo/eunji
daesu/joonyeong
cheongsan/cheolsoo (A/N: nobody knows squad!!!)
hyoryung/jimin
suhyeok/namra
isak/nayeon
gyeongsu/wujin
sunhae/y/n

me and sunhae opened the door, she insisted on being at the front, being the adult, she swears to protect her students from any harm

she let go of me for a second to step out slowly, ensuring there wasn't anything or anyone out there

she grabbed my hand again when it was safe to go, everyone came out following us, slowly stepping down the stairs

while walking down there was a sudden loud thunder, the light coming in through the window revealing half of a zombie's body on the ground

some of them flinched at the sound and at the corpse, sunhae turned to them reassured them that we were going to get out of here, all of us were

we gained a faster pace, going down the stairs quickly but stopping abruptly when sunhae saw zombies down the stairs

the others whispered amongst themselves until a loud thunder hit, causing the zombies to run to the direction of the sound

we ran once we knew they were distracted, making it to the back exit, we lowered ourselves so the outside zombies can't see us

sunhae looked over and saw a couple on the path we had to take

she looked at us and whispered

"ill lure them away and you guys can go, okay?" i shook my head and she repeated it, thinking i couldn't hear her

"no way" i whispered "let's go along the wall, no one's dying tonight, ill make sure of it"

we picked up pace and jumped over the bush thing, running along the wall, making it to that truck from the show

the others started crawling underneath it, while sunhae and cheongsan kept watched, when cheongsan suddenly froze and stared ahead of him, i looked at him sadly, knowing exactly what it is he saw

i wish there was a way for me to save her, but unfortunately i couldn't, there was no way for me to get out and guide her away from the zombies

the others, not recognizing his mother, started hitting her, thinking it was just a random zombie

onjo, isak, and gyeongsu stared in horror at the sight, cheongsan jumped over the truck and immediately went to daesu, who had been the one that hit her first, and started punching him

the rest of us who were standing there shocked quickly jumped over and took ahold of him, gyeongsu and isak grabbed his arms to stop him

he sobbed out a devastating "mom" causing the other two to stop, weapons midair

due to all the screaming of cheongsan's, zombies starts running towards us

everyone started to run again, except for isak and gyeongsu who were attached to cheongsan, he didn't move despite the protests from his friends

namra stood a couple feet away from them, to protect her newfound friends incase something would happen

they starts running together but isak let go to hold onto namra as thunder echoed through her sensitive ears

they caught up to us and we ran all together, escaping from the zombies

but along the way hyoryung fell, i looked behind me to see Jimin's hesitation i ran to them and quickly helped her up, wujin came running towards us aswell, i took ahold of jimin's hand to prevent her from running, the zombie ran towards us with high speed, but suddenly got shot by a arrow

wujin held onto hyoryung as hari and the others came up to us

i made eye contact with...heesu? what was she doing here? i looked over all of them and noticed joonsung had the baby attached to him on the thing he was on

hari instructed us to run, with the others helping with hyoryung when wujin let go of her

we all caught up with the others, inside of the auditorium we planned on going to

i looked towards heesu and joonsung who had her baby with him, there was no way id be able to save him...and with the baby on him, I don't know how i could do that

"we have to leave" namra said "run" "what?" joonyeong from beside namra said

the thunder happened again, the light revealing a crowd of zombies, mijin cursed and we began running again, mijin grabbing the thing joonsung was on despite his protests

they found a room we could all fit in as we pooled inside, i stayed out to make sure everyone got in when i realized minjae was missing i scanned my eyes around the room and found him, he was about to leave through the front door, i ran quickly to him and grabbed him arm, he let out a noise of surprise when i dragged him with me

i pushed him inside once i got back and looked back to see mijin and heesu struggling with joonsung, but heesu gave up quicker than mijin

heesu shot a look towards the baby on his chest, she almost ran inside, but a true mother could never leave her child, so she untied the small rope that held the baby around him and took them, apologizing to joonsung and running inside the room

with the rope gone joonsung undid the rest himself, rolling himself over as a sacrifice even with mijin's screams, hari and another person held onto her and got into the room,i shut the door behind me, breathing heavily, i closed my eyes, leaning onto the door

everyone was silent, only the sound of heavy breathing and crying was heard

i slid to the floor, placing my head in my hands, sighing, i removed my hands to look around the room, the closet person to me being eunji, i moved myself over to her and hugged her

she seemed surprised but she leaned into my hold, im tired, so tired...

we all eventually fell asleep, some having a harder time than others

A/N: IM SO SORRY YALL 😭 I WANTED AT LEAST ONE DEATH 😭😭 I couldn't exactly think of how to save him either considering the circumstances and how he was injured so... rip joonsung

there's only a couple more chapters left 😭 im sad it's gonna be over so soon, thank you guys so so much for all the love on my crappy book 🥺
