"How lucky that Jacques found those two condos so close to each other," Bela smiled at Amaury as she sipped her coffee.
"I agree. It'll be nice to have you as a neighbour," he grinned back, "when does your family leave?"
"Daniela and Gabriela are staying for another week. Ludy and Oscar for another two weeks, and then my mom is staying for the rest of the month. She wants to help me get settled in and make sure I'm okay."
"Your sisters don't want to make sure you're okay?" He joked.
"They do, but they have lives to get back to. They've already stayed in Paris almost a month longer than they anticipated to. Oscar's on summer break right now, so he has some flexibility," she explained.
"Ah okay."
"Have any of Neymar's family tried to contact you?"
"Only every day," she sighed while rolling her eyes.
"Haven't blocked them yet?"
"It feels wrong. They didn't do anything wrong. For god's sake, Rafaella was my maid of honour," Bela ran her fingers through her hair while shaking her head.
"I'm sorry," Amaury reached out and squeezed her hand.
"Thank you," she smiled.
"Are you going to talk to them?"
"Eventually. Just hopefully not in person."
"Well if you need some moral support, I'd be happy to go with you."
"Thank you," Bela smiled.
"Of course. Are you done with rehearsals and such?"
"For the next two months yes."
"Once you're settled in, do you want to go on another road trip? Maybe to a vineyard or two?"
"Oh I'd love that, Amaury! What a great idea! Thank you," she beamed at him.
"Of course," he smiled, "I had a lot of fun when we took that road trip to Monte Carlo."
"Me too. Honestly some of the best times I've had in Paris have been with you."
"Me too," he squeezed her hand.
"Thank you, Amaury. You've been here for me through everything in Paris. I really don't know what I'd have done without you."
