chapter I

" It's a boy m'lady." The maid handed the newborn to his mother. Her golden-blond hair and blue eyes which looks like jewel if you look closely.

"Welcome to this world, my baby." The women kissed the tiny hand of the sleeping baby.

The baby in her arms opened his eyes slowly. The moment he opened his eyes jewel blue eyes, Sierra eyes widen. Those jewel eyes, which were the symbol of the royal family of Obelia.

She thought his eyes would look like hers but she was wrong. She whole body starts to tremble, her mind was filled with thousands thoughts of what is going to happen to her son.

If her husband knew about his eyes he will definitely use him. She didn't want son to experience anything like that. Her mind was not working properly.

" I could seal his mana " she knew that her mana level was very low and if she use her mana to change his eyes and seal his mana, all of her mana will be drained. But she didn't care, this little angel in her arms was her first priority.

" ψυχήελπίδα" she chanted the spell. A white light start to flow out of her hand. The baby's jewel blue eyes turn into normal blue eyes and the mana that surrounded the baby was now gone.

Seirra sighed in relief. The baby start to clap his tiny hand and starts to giggle. Seirra smiled and kissed her son's head and put him in his crib.

Bang

Seirra gasped in surprise, she turned towards the door. A man with black hair and red eyes with slit pupils, anyone who look at him can tell that he is a villain.

" So it's a boy " he look at the baby in the crib. He smirked, but it was not a expression that a father gives to his newborn  child, but a expression that he got a new tool.

" Ashil, his name will be ashil " he left after naming the child.

After he left, seirra hold her baby boy in her arms. She thought that she could protect him from any danger but when she saw the look of her husband when he look at the child. The corner of her eyes were fill with tears threatening to fall.

" I wish I could name you but......" Seirra stared at him with sad eyes. She felt guilty because she knew how difficult it is for her child to grow in this household. There were chances that he could die.

She was terrified think about the death of her baby. But will she be able to do anything if her baby die. No, why?
Because she is not strong. Her mana has also drained, so she could not protect him with her mana.

" Please grow up well and strong my baby. So that no one could harm you."

- 6 years later -

" It's a girl this time , m'lady" said the midwife as she handed the baby to her mother.

" Please leave the room " all the maids bow and followed what there lady said.

The baby opened her eyes slowly. Seirra  was relieved to see the baby's red eye like her father. Her heart finally calm down. She smiled at her baby girl.

Roxanne pov~

" Hello there my baby girl" the first voice i heard at birth was kind and warm. My mother was a outstanding beauty with honey blond hair and beep blue eyes.

' to think this kind of beauty is his wife, my father must be quite fortunate' the baby's eyes sparkled as she stared at the beauty in awe.

" Mama " i turned my face toward the direction where the voice come from. A little boy with straight golden hair which was darker than my mother's and deep sapphire blue eyes.

" Come here ashil. Meet your little sister"
Her mother gestures the boy to come to her. " Mama, she is so cute" ashil exclaimed. He showed his index finger to the baby which she grabbed happily. The boy smile brightly.

'my father must be a really lucky person to have such a beautiful wife and son.' that was the last thought that tha baby have.

...

However...... the day i first met my father
"Roxanne.. name the child 'roxanne' "
He just named me and left the place

He was a rotten parent, in and out. But still, my mother smiled purely. Gazed down at me like always. I was hugged by my mother

" You must hurry and grow up healthy and became a fine Agriche"

Roxanne blinked her eyes " 'agriche' that ringed a bell" at that moment deja vu hit me.

Agriche this family, drugs, fraud, theft, poison. If necessary they would kill without hesitation, a criminal family that dominated the underworld.

The most astonishing thing was that the children of this family have to follow that family tradition. Until now the agriche maintained there name in this manner.

And to became a true Agriche they have to receive a steady education. Of course i could not escape that family tradition. It would have been okay if it was just things to memorize. I have no practical skills.

Even my father " you have no outstanding skills" looks down on me " go now"

Anyhow he was an annoying person ' when did I say i would work for this damn family' his objectifying on me felt dirty.

Roxanne made a disgusted face ' and moreover what I have to learn se.du.tion'

" Roxie " i signed " is this the time for me to do this"

" Roxie" i finally notice my six year old blood brother 'ashil'. He looked at me worried. He is sensitive unlike most children of this atrocious family.

" You don't look well today, did something happened" unlike my mother i have a very close relationship with my brother. And he is the only person i could rely on and share all my personal feelings with him.

" Father told me to learn seduction" his eyes widen. I don't know if it was only me but his eyes looked like jewel which flickered with a blue shine. But his eyes soon turned normal and he looked really worried about me.

" Does mother knows about this "  i scoffed " of course she told me to become an outstanding Agriche"

Again his eyes flickered with a blue hue. It's not the first time i noticed this but i always ignored it.

" Outstanding Agriche" he said the word like he was learning those words. He gulped "right... listen to mother since we must be agriches" Back then how could I not notice his small tremble.

He patted my head " I, will definitely protect you Roxie"

Both the siblings walked away holding there hands. They have a warm aura not matching the cruel and cold mansion.

I and ashil hated to participate in Agriche house affairs. And we performed badly.

But 'that' incident happened. My biological brother failed the test and died young.

" Ashil Agriche have been disposed of" my brother eyes which held so much warmth was now cold and lifeless. His body felt cold but i... My heart couldn't believe that he is dead. I don't know...but my heart knows he was alive. Maybe because it was... because we were siblings.

I wanted to listen to my heart but my mind refuse to believe that. Hot tears fell out of my eyes uncontrollably. " Ashil!!!".

A/N

There will be some changes in the plot.

• seirra is a distant relative of the previous emperor (orginal clause's father) of Obelia.

•In this story Athanasia was a secret agent in her past life. She was an orphan. In her learning years one of her friend forced her to read this novel. ( Since Agriche is involved in it, i want to   make Athanasia strong)

• Claude/ashil was 18 when he killed his brother and ascended the throne. He met Diana at the age of 19 and Athanasia was born when Claude/ashil was 21.

• Roxanne was 20 year old when she met ashil and athanasia.
