YOUR P.O.V

I was going to school with Elle, Tao and Isaac when I saw Nick and Harry, talking on the bench. I walked across the street towards Nick and he looked so relieved. He excused himself from Harry and ran towards me.

He opened his arms and enveloped me in one of his signature hugs. I blushed and hugged him back. 'Hi Nick' I say with a smile. 'Hi' he said and stepped away from me. 'You literally saved me' he added with a chuckle. I laughed and said 'You're welcome Nicky'. He smiled and blushed. 'What did you just call me?' he asked. 'Now I'm not going to say it again!' I chirped. 'Aw come on say it again!' he said as he ruffled my hair. I laugh as I try to escape from his grasp. He puts an arm on my waist and pulls me into him.

Our faces are inches apart. I can feel his breath on my face. We both turn a dark red and pull away from each other. 'Sorry' he said uncomfortably. 'Don't worry about it' I said as I kissed his cheek and walked away. I looked back at him and he was smiling broadly.

•TIME SKIP•

I was walking home from school, when I saw Nick walking out of the Truham gate. 'Hey Nick!' I said as I tried to scare him. He jumped slightly and then pulled me into a hug. 'I missed you today' he said into the crook of my neck. 'Aw I missed you too' I said as butterflies flooded my stomach.

He extended a folded arm and I took it. 'So.. Harry's party is happening this weekend and I wanted to ask you to come with me' he asked me nervously. 'Nick I don't really know if parties are really my scene' I said, not looking at him. 'Y/n please come! It's going to be so boring without you' he pleaded with me. 'Alright alright I'll come. But I swear if Harry pesters me, I'm going to walk out' I said, chuckling.

I looked at him. His blond hair shone in the afternoon sun. He was beautiful. I know that's not the usual compliment that you'd use but that's what I'd use for him. Beautiful.

I had forgotten to tell him that I was moving to Truham next term. I was waiting for the right time and I think now is that time. 'Hey Nick..' I said in an emotionless tone. 'Hmm?' He said, turning to look at me. 'I'm switching to Truham next term' I said, nonchalantly. 'What!!' he said excitedly and hugged me so tightly that I could barely breathe. 'We're going to be together!!' he said as he spun me around. I laughed at his sudden excitement. He suddenly put me down and laced his fingers with mine.

'Are you going to be in my year?' he asked. 'Yeah! I might be in your form too' I said, happily. 'I'm so excited! I can't believe that you're switching!' he said as he admired the afternoon sky.

'Wanna come round mine today?' I asked. 'You can meet my cat, Lilith' I added. 'You have a cat? I'd love to meet her!' Nick grinned. As we walked towards my house, it soon became apparent that it would rain. It was already drizzling and it would get worse.

As soon as we reached the door, the rain began to pick up. We walked inside, took our shoes off and Lilith ran up to me. I picked her up and she head butted me. 'This is Lilith. Do you wanna hold her?' I requested to Nick.

He opened his arms and I gently put her in his arms. Lilith almost loved him as much as Nellie loved me.

Ugh I think I'm in love with Nick Nelson.
