ɢʀᴏᴜᴘ ʜᴏᴍᴇ ғᴏʀ ᴛᴇᴇɴᴀɢᴇ ɢɪʀʟsIt was a normal house like the others in the street that Emily was looking at but you could see that no one really took care of it. It was quite run down in comparison to the houses around it and the lawn was a bit overgrown.
After she had looked at it for a moment the agent finally got the courage to walk up the porch. She rang on the door bell and a few seconds later a middle aged blonde woman opened the door for her."Oh hello you must be Agent Prentiss I assume?", she greeted Emily with a big smile.
"Yeah so I assume Mr. Jackson already called you, perfect!", the agent replied also giving the woman a friendly smile.
"I am Mrs. Martin come on in.", she said and stepped back so Emily could walk in. "Just so you know, I didn't inform Amelia beforehand so she's probably going to be a bit surprised to see you. I heard you met each other from a case she already knows you tho. I'll just bring you to her room, if you would follow me.", Mrs Martin told her and started going upstairs with Emily right behind her..
"Hey Amelia I have a guest for you.", the blonde woman said after she had knocked and opened the door at the end of the hallway upstairs. Emily could see that the girl looked up kinda confused, she was sitting on a bed right now and had a book in her hands. She put it down and got up quickly.
"It's fine, you two can stay here, I am gonna ask the other girls to come downstairs with me for a while.", Mrs Martin explained and gave the three other girls that were sitting on their own beds a look that made them all stand up and leave the room before she even needed to say anything to them directly.
"Hi Amelia, I guess you still know who I am?", Emily asked a bit jokingly after Mrs. Martin has stepped aside a bit so that Amelia could see who was wanting to talk to her.
"Uhm yeah of course Agent Prentiss what are you doing here?", the girl asked confused.
"I'll leave you two alone then.", Mrs. Martin said and walked away before Emily could reply. The agent then stepped into the girls room and closed the door behind her. She went over to a desk and pulled the chair over to Amelias bed and sat down in front of her. "Are there more questions about David?", Amelia wanted to know.
"Oh no, I am actually here to talk about you.", the brunette smiled.
"What do you mean?", the teenager replied, she seemed still confused.
"Uhm so did your social worker talk to you about where you will stay from now on?", Emily asked her.
"Well he told me he's searching for another foster family but he also told me that I am probably staying here for a few weeks, maybe longer. He said it would be probably hard to find someone who's willing to take me into their care.", Amelia told her openly and on the first look she might seemed unbothered but watching her closely Emily saw exactly how scared and anxious this actually made her feel..
"I am actually here to talk to you about that because there is a possible placement for you.", Prentiss said nervous.
"But then why are you here? Since when are FBI Agents doing something like that?", the girl seemed even more confused now.
"Uhm you're right that's not part of my job.", Emily laughed nervously. "I am here because I would take you in. Of course only if that's okay for you too.",, the agent added immediately-
