after the fall of beacon and learned that jaune died at the hands of cinder fall, and getting her right arm sliced off like butter, yang fell into a deep depression ever since, we see yang watching t.v. until her parents came in
Tai: yang, we're home.
he said as he came in, along with his wives, who were carrying some boxes
yang: hey, guys. how was signal?
she asked regularly
summer: it was ok, we just started getting the academy back up and running. a lot, and i mean A LOT Of parents were concerned about sending their kids to train after what happened at beacon
raven; but we told them that's not the case and that a lot of students are eager to learn about being huntsman, although their main reason was to become just like...uhh..
she trailed off, making yang think about jaune
yang: about jaune?
she said in a sad tone
tai: yeah, him. but that's because his death inspired a lot of those kids. but should've seen his dad back in the day, Nicholas was kind of like him, but without the inexperience that his son had
summer: (sighs) those were the days.
raven: uh huh.
yang: you all knew his dad?
she questioned as they nodded
tai: yep, back in the day, he was the leader of, what you can consider as our sister team, like your friends in team JNPR. Nicholas was the leader of team NOTE and he was the most cold bastard i've met in my life, but was also a good friend of ours.
raven: but things changed when his dad died, and after graduation, he left and met jaune's mother, had a family, kind of like us. since then, his team went their separate ways.
she said as she pulled out a picture of team STRQ as yang gazed at the pic
summer: but i guess, not entirely?
she said as an uncomfortable silence drifted them as they stared at the young qrow on the pic, remembering his passing
tai: but enough about that, we have a......
he was cut off as they heard a a loud engine coming towards the house, they went outside and see a red and blue truck of unknown design getting closer, but as it got closer, it transformed into a giant red & blue colored robot, AKA: Optimus Prime
his appearance and size shocked and alerted them, who got their weapons ready, except yang
Optimus: wait, i mean you no harm!!!!
Tai: who are you!!!!???
Yang: more like, what are you?
she asked to optimus, who was smiling under his mouth-plate
Optimus: it's good to see you, yang.
Raven: how do you know our daughter's name?
she said with caution and curiosity
Optimus: maybe this will make yang remember who i am: short, sweet, rolls of the tongue, ladies love it.
he said, making Yang shocked at the robot's words, knowing only ONE person she knew said that as the great autobot leader turned into.... jaune arc, making yang's parents shocked at seeing the supposedly dead arc
