As he was about the step in the gates a bunch of upperclassmen was asking him to join their clubs with other first years. As he was trying to get out of the crowd of upperclassmen he stumbles upon the basketball buth with a representative in the front of the buth giving out flyers and some signing in he saw a black-haired guy signing in in front of the buth so shin walk in front of the buth with his white hair swaying he as the representative if he was allowed to join the basketball club of course with a soft smile after signing in the representative said that they will be having assigning of strings later shin nodded at the reminder of his senior as he said "Arigatou senpai" and bowed and shin looked at the side feeling that he was stared at he saw that same black-haired boy. The black-haired boy apologizes for staring at him shin just said " no-no it's normal to stare at someone with hair as white as snow as mine so no worries" shin said. The black-haired boy then started to introduce himself " Arigatou my name is shuzo nijimura its nice to meet you" he smiled

and I nodded with a soft smile coming to my face. As we finish introducing each other we started to chat about the assigning of strings later and also about anything related to the sport. We were talking we stop at the same classroom both to our surprise as we were going inside the classroom we just went inside and sat at sits next to each other and continue chatting. When we heard the door open and we saw our homeroom teacher the teacher introduce himself and told us that we should also introduce ourselves to the class too.
Timeskip
As the first day of classes finish I and nijimura went to the gym and started to get changed and went in a line of people getting their assigned numbers as we got our assigned numbers we just waited around or just chat with each other. As we were talking with each other we heard footsteps in front and saw the coaches and the current captain of the basketball team as they step up in the front they introduce themselves they first introduce the 2nd and 3rd string coaches and then they started to introduce the 1st string coach which his name was Naoto Sanada and then introduce the head coach which his name was Kōzō Shirogane after the introduction they told us that we need to show our skills in playing basketball so that they could put us in strings. After the matches, they started to put us into the strings. as they were putting the other players into strings they started to yell out the 1st stringers after yelling the other first-stringers shin and nijimura heard their numbers which were
"...number twenty-nine, shuzo nijimura...and number thirty-two, Kazuma shinpi. That is all you first-year 1st-stringers will be training under me with the rest of your seniors in the first string."
Shin and nijimura did a fist bump with each other in celebrating that they were in the first string. As time goes by in their first year of junior high school. the first lineup of teiko basketball team was standing proud with shin and nijimura in the front as they finish the final game in the whole tournament with a trophy in their hands they where getting surrounded by reporters and Scouters from other high school basketball teams but what surprised them was that their ace which was Kazuma shinpi or shin for short was offered an NBA recommendation which surprises the whole team even nijimura as they waited and what came out of his mouth made them even more surprise "I am sorry I refuse and also because I am still in middle school I will think about it when the time comes" said by shin the NBA Scouters accept his answer and will ask again in the near future but they offer something that will benefit them and shin which was to go in a 1 year or months trip to America and Tokyo to get instructed by a professional basketball instructor which made shin agree to this offer. Shin ask the school and the head coach and of course, his parents to help him in his preparations for his 1 year or months getaway of course the first-stringers were sad that their ace and captain will be away for a year or months but told themselves that he will be back in no time. As shin was finishing taking all the exams for his first year of junior high school in teiko he started to go to the airport waving goodbye to his friends and parents. That is the start where the generation of miracles meets the ace of the teiko basketball team...
