I was sick for the past week and I haven't told my parents (not that they would care) or my friends.

I was hoping that the flu would go away before anybody noticed.
But it didn't. It just got worse as each day passed.

I was interrupted from my thoughts when the doorbell rang.
I got up and walked over to the door and looked through the peep hole before answering it.

It was Eddie.
Shit.
He has a spare key.
I started to panic. My head was in overdrive as I scampered to the couch where I had previously been lying.

I started to shove all the tissues under the couch.
Eddie could not know that I was sick.
He'd never even look at me again.
I was so close to getting them all underneath my couch but I heard a click at the door.
Crap.

I looked up at him and just smiled.
"Hey Eddie" I said maintaining my smile.
"Hey Y/N are you okay?" He asked with a concerned painted across his face.

"Yeah I'm fine, why, what's wrong with you?" I replied still holding my smile.

"You don't look fine" He shot back.
"I am fine!" I practically yelled at him.
I sniffled.

"You just sniffled" He said with a smirk.
He began to walk over to my kitchen cabinet.
"Just take this" He said handing me a thermometer.

He finally smiles.
Cute motherfucker.
