McNamara's pov-
I'm waking through the park when I see Chandler a few feet away from me. I smile and rush over to her, hugging her tightly.
"Hey baby!" I squeal excitedly. She smiles and hugs back, pressing a soft kiss to my forehead. I feel the heat in my face rise.
"Hey sunshine. Fancy seeing you here." she comments. I nod and giggle a little. I lead Chan to a park bench where we both sit. We talk and talk and talk, that is until I feel someone tap me on the back.

I finish talking to Chan and look up to see Veronica looking at me weirdly.
"Hey Mac, you alright?" she asks. I'm a little confused seen as her tone of voice suggest I shouldn't be. I nod my head.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be alright?" I ask.
"It's just... You're.. Talking to yourself." she finishes. I frown and turn to face Chandler. I look to where she was sat but nothings there. I immediately feel queasy. I clutch my stomach and put a hand over my mouth, leaning down slightly.
"Mac. Hey, it's okay. I know you're still a little disoriented but I swear she's in a better place." Ronnie comforts. I can't stop myself and I throw up all over the grass.
"Oh honey." Veronica sighs. She sits next to me and pulls me into her lap.

Veronica's pov-
As I pull McMamara onto my lap I realise she's shaking. I feel so guilty. Stupid JD. Stupid me. STUPID FUCKING DRAIN CLEANER! I stop beating myself up to turn to Mac whoes biting her nails, shuddering slightly. I place a soft kiss to her forehead.
"It's alright sunshine." I whisper softly. Mac chokes out more sobs as I gently pick her up. I walk with her in my arms until we reach my house. I open the door and quickly rush upstairs to my room, placing Mac on my bed.

The smaller girl immediately snuggles herself into my bed. I climb in and get myself situated. It's about 10pm so I decide it'd be good to get some sleep. We have school tomorrow but I'm not sure I'm gonna let her go, she's still really shaken up and it shows. As soon as I'm about to fall asleep I hear McNamara.
"Night Ronnie, Night Channy." she sniffles, burying her head into my neck, soft sobs slowly escaping her lips.
