The confession [to a different person]

She just smiled and looked into the sky like before...... as if she's considering something....

Author's POV

She turned to you and asked slowly,

"You said that you felt uncomfortable, right? Are you alright now?"

"Yes, I am, I guess..."

"You felt uncomfortable in your stomach, right?"

"Yeah..."

"And you felt it was boiling where you were, right?"

"My god, she's thinking of that now?", you sweat dropped in your mind, "Please let she not find my secret", you begged to the high heavens. 

Looks like they won't listen to you today, Y/N [No, not today plays in the background.]

"Do you feel your heart fluttering, too? And butterflies in your stomach too? And the feeling that you are burning to ashes?"

You were like:

How does she know all of this? Should you confess to her you feel all the stuff that she just said? Or should you keep on stupidly denying? She's Kanao, she won't say anything to anyone, she's trustworthy.

You held her one hand and said, more like, begged,

"Kanao, I've something to tell you. Please promise me you won't tell it to anybody else."

She was stunned by your sudden reaction and became like,

She said,

"Okay, Y/N chan, a-are you o-okay?"

"Yes, it's that I've all the symptoms that you've said, and I want to say that I know the reason. It's that I like a certain someone, but it looks like he likes somebody else and not me. I want to tell you who it is, but I'm too uncomfortable right now, but I'll show a sign to you when he comes."

You were on the verge of tears and Kanao noticed this, cause she gently smiled and held your hand back and said,

"It's ok, he didn't say that he doesn't like you, right? So we still have hope, you know."

"HOW?! He always talks to her and searches for her while he doesn't talk much to me. When he talks, he speaks less and tries to get away. It's not possible that he likes me."

"What if he does? And he's just not saying?"

"Well, he would never do that cause he's a very open person."

[I'm so sorry that I haven't published a new chapter, cause summer camp with it's no-screen rule is a real obstacle and after all the noise, rush, chatter, people, etc, I, as an introvert gets mentally tired to not write😣😪. So I'll try to write as much as possible, but don't get upset if I don't.]
