The Transfer

My eyes flickered open to the blaring alarm I sighed as I sat up a school with mainly boys is going to be horrible so many road men at least that bitch Imogen isn't here she kept tormenting me darcy and Tara those too are definitely going to end up dating I checked the time I scurried out of bed and changed as quick as possible my tie wasn't on properly but I didn't care I grabbed my phone and headphones I left the door my favorite song was playing I got to the main part and then my headphones died it started playing out loud. all eyes were on me I wanted to die I've never liked any kind of attention a short man walked over to me a roadman before he could even go near me I ran off he walked back over to his "mates" they were all cackling was this the label I was going to get I walked to the office "hello!?" I rang a bell they had there "hello there"a woman with a croaky voice I took a deep breath I was never good at talking to people "may I have a  planner please" I took a sigh of relief as I grabbed the planner I reached into my blazer and grabbed a plain black mask I took a sigh and walked into form praying nobody recognized who I was I was next to a guy called Nicholas nelson it was a familiar name I brushed it off and walked over my head was down to the ground I didn't want to see anyone I didn't want them to see me. I looked up to see him looking at me he smiled gently "hi!" It took me a second to comprehend I needed to respond"oh uh hello" he laughed for a second and spoke again "I'm sorry about harry earlier" I was idle and confused "....who" I took my seat "he's the guy who went up to you earlier did he say anything" I tried to forget the fact this guy saw the music incident "u-uh no he didn't I ran away from him" I responded chuckling the bell rang for first period "what lesson do you have " he said looking up from his planner I sighed "p.e" he gave me a comforting smile "you'll be with higgs again then we share a field" I went quiet I moved from higgs to Truham to get rid of the bully's and Imogen's bullshit I walked over to the girls changing room it was empty higgs and Truham may share p.e facilities but not changing rooms a tall girl with long brown hair then walked in they looked at my short hair "oh I'm sorry is this the male changing rooms" I sighed "no..I'm a girl" but sometimes I wish I want I just hated those feminine labels I wish people acknowledged in non binary peoples existence "oh ok sorry for assuming" she walked into the toilets to get changed I took a big gulp of air I was going to do it I thought I was going to become friends with them. I had finished changing quickly she walked out of the bathrooms I slowly paced over "so..if you don't mind me asking do you use any specific pronouns" they looked up they looked happy "I use she/her thank you what about you" she smiled at me I was making friends I'm sure of it I was getting sidetracked I assured myself I could do it before answer "o-oh me I umm use they/them pronouns if you wouldn't mind calling me those" she nodded "do you mind if I ask you name" I felt happy "my name is y/n yours" she hesitated I could tell " my name's Elle " we walked out together talking about school stuff and I was about to tell her why I moved from higgs until I heard someone yell at me "OmG it's that NoN bInaRy Girl" I sighed "leave me alone Ashley she was with her little patrol Cassidy and Mia basically mean girls of wish. Elle said "I think I know why now" we were playing contactless rugby I still got tackled my higgs girls though we went back to the changing room and we both were going in the same direction i waved goodbye and headed into math "seats please" a teacher yelled I saw nick so I went next to him"sorry for Just sitting next to you I dont really know anyone" he flashed a smile at me "I don't mind at all you are my friend" I felt like punching the air two friends in one day I did the math he was horrible he kept asking me questions about it he was dumb yet I was sort of cute before I knew it I was at last lesson science I love science in higgs it was easy could be no difference we were learning about the force of gravity our science teacher Mr Ashford explained to us about Issac newton and how it was discovered with an apple the bell rang I don't think I was able to count hoe much that man said guys I was walking home I live on Brittania road I arrived when I remembered we were having new neighbors I met eyes with a man from next door he offered a handshake to be respectful I took it "w-welcome to the neighborhood" I didn't mean to stutter "thank you happy to be here" I walked inside my mother said "he's a nice lad nextdoor isn't he" I responded after putting up my blazer "who...?" She walked over "that charlie boy he's a year younger than you" I walked upstairs and began playing my bass guitar I got a call of my best friend Tori "heyy" I said after answering the boy next door charlie I think it was was playing drums and he was playing them loud "hold on" Tori said she left her room and walked into another and grabbed a boys shoulders the drumming stopped I could hear her clearly now "your being to loud " she left the room I asked her if she minded going into her front garden she did it and sat on her bench her father had just finished installing I bolted down the stairs and opened the door I met eyes with Tori we were so happy the day flew by after I spent the rest of the day with her I went home and led on my bed and started thinking of something or should I say someone I had a crush on a guy..
