1000 people I know
Yet surprising I am still alone
No one at the end of the phone
Not even a message to say hello
How can one be surrounded
Yet feel forgotten
Be present
Yet at the same time absent
Are we really part of a whole
Or are we just playing a role
Someone said we are never alone
God is by our side, he is our home
I understand and agree
But my heart feels empty
Similar to Adam in genesis
Being loved yet lonely.
