Chapter Three: "Oh my god im gay..."

After taking Sunoo to the nurse and heading back to class Niki was walking in the hallway alone since the nurse wouldn't let him stay with Sunoo, he decided to just skip the class and hang out in the restroom. He walked into the restroom and went into an empty stall, he put his backpack on the floor and slid down with his bookbag. Niki didn't have the best mental health, so whenever he got stressed, he cried, and that's exactly what he did, he sat on the bathroom floor, brought his knees up to his chest and started crying, he was letting out loud sobs until he hear the door to the bathroom open, "Hello? is anyone in here?" Niki stayed quiet, but tears kept running down his cheeks, the male that entered the bathroom was getting ready to leave until Niki hiccuped, the male walked to the stall Niki was in and knocked on the door, Niki sighed, stood up and opened the door, he looked up and was met face to face with Jake, "Oh my god Niki? what happened are you ok?" Jake genuinely seemed concerned for the younger, considering he was the youngest in the little group of them, "O-Oh, Jake, uhm yeah i-i'm fine" Niki lied, but right then and there Niki seemed to be getting warmer "Niki, i know we just met but you can talk to me, i'll listen to it all" that's when Niki hit another breaking point and started crying again, Jake brought him into a warm and comforting hug, after Jake broke the hug he gave a big and warm smile "Come on, let's to go the councilors office and tell her what's going on" Niki slowly nodded but kept crying, Niki turned around to grab his book bag but was startled when he found Jake already grabbing it for him, "Let's go" and walked out the door with Niki following behind.

Jake and Niki were walking side by side in the hallway to the counselors office, Niki had this bad feeling in his gut, he felt like someone or something was following them, he looked up and looked around them, but all he found was Jake walking beside him like he was the whole time, but he still couldn't get this feeling out of him, when all of a sudden, Niki was hit with something and was drenched with something wet "Water...?" Niki thought, "Niki are you ok?" Jake said shocked and put a hand on his shoulder, "Y-Yeah i'm fine, whoever was here must've thrown water balloons at me" Jake and Niki looked around the room but couldn't find anyone, "Weird... was i the only one who felt someone was following us?" Jake questioned, "No, i did too" Niki shuddered from being drenched and the whole school being cold, "Come on we better hurry before it happens again and before you get sick in those wet clothes" Niki nodded and sped walked with Jake to the counselors office.

When they finally reached the counselors office Jake knocked on the door and waited a few seconds. The door opened revealing a young lady who was about in her late 20's with dark brown hair, glasses, a white tee with skinny jeans and a pair of sneakers. She looked at Jake "Oh! Hi Jake, what brings you here?" he smiled at her and said "Hi Isa, My friend here has been struggling a bit here, and we were on our way here when people hit him with water balloon" her face became serious but softened "I think i know who it was, come on sweetie, let's get you out of those clothes before you get sick" she smiled at Niki and brought him in the room "W-Who do you think it was..?" Niki questioned her after they entered the room and sat down, "Sunghoon, he's always pulling pranks and tricks with new kids here" Isa said while grabbing fresh clean clothes for Niki, "I should've known" Niki said a bit irritated. Isa handed the clothes to Niki "There's a restroom right over there, you can change in there and dry your hair a bit with paper towels. Niki took the clothes and walked into the restroom to change, he took off his clothes and set them aside putting on the warm and dry clothes. He took some paper towels and dried his hair. He took a quick look in the mirror and decided that he looked fine enough to exit the restroom. He opened the door and said "Uhm, do you maybe have something I can put my wet clothes in..?" Niki said as he exited the restroom, "Woah, Niki who knew you could look so hot" Jake said Niki became extremely flustered and said "U-Uhm, t-thanks?" Isa laughed and said "Yeah, here use this bag" she said as she handed him a bag, he took it and put his wet clothes inside. Niki took a seat with Jake and Isa "So Niki, what's been going on huh?" Isa said with a soft sincere look, "W-Well.. i've just been struggling a little bit ever since moving schools.." Jake looked a bit confused "So, you moved to this school this year?" Niki nodded "I thought you went here already" Niki shook his head "I kept getting bullied at my last school, it was so bad to the point i had to move, but bullies just keep following me" Niki chuckled a bit "Well, i'm sorry for the struggling your going through right now" Isa said with a shy smile, Niki smiled back and they all continued talking.

It was close to the end of the day when Jake and Niki finally left the counselors office, Isa said she'd call their teachers and tell them the situation with them both. Jake and Niki were walking together when Niki saw Sunoo walking with someone he's never seen before "Niki!" Sunoo said walking up to him and Jake, "Hey Sunoo, how are you feeling?", "Eh, i got a concussion but i should be fine" Sunoo said with a bright smile. Niki looked over at the male Sunoo was with and said "Who's this?" Sunoo looked at the male and said "Oh! this is Kai, Huening Kai", Kai smiled at Niki and said "Hi, I go by Kai but whatever you wanna call me is okay too" he said as he shook Nikis hand. Just then everyone else in their friend group had come over to where the males were standing. Heeseung looked at Niki and said "Weren't you in different clothes this morning?" everyone looked at Niki and Niki said "Yeah, me and Jake were walking to the counselors office when someone hit me with water balloons" Niki said with a slight chuckle. Jungwon then said "I got an idea, let's go to the pizzeria and hang out in the arcade" everyone looked at each other and nodded in agreement. While they were reaching the gates, Niki had tripped on his foot and fell back into someone "Why am i always falling into people..." Niki thought to himself before getting up and turning around to help the person, but as he turned around he realized he had bumped into none other than... Sunghoon.

Niki looked down at Sunghoon and said "U-Uhm, I'm sorry.. i tripped on my foot" Niki stuttered as he held his hand out for Sunghoon to take, Sunghoon took his hand and looked at Niki in the eyes, "It's... fine, just watch where your going, wouldn't wanna hurt anything important angel" he said as he looked at Niki in the eyes again and turned around getting flustered. Niki stood there in shock again "H-He called me angel.." Niki thought as he stood still, his heart was beating fast and his cheeks were a light pink, while he was getting sweaty and felt butterflies in his stomach. Niki had never felt this way before, what was Niki feeling and why was he feeling it. "What is up with you and bumping into people" Sunoo said, putting an arm around Nikis shoulder. Niki just stood still, so many thoughts came into his mind, "Niki.. you okay?" Heeseung said and stood beside Niki, it took Niki a second before he finally processed what these feelings where "Oh my god i'm gay..."
