Chapter 53~ Explanations

Tris POV
I get home and it's around 5:00, the guys went home since their cars aren't in the parking lot. I get in and take my shoes off. I turn back around and jump when I find tobias leaning against the doorway to the bedroom, with his arms crossed and eyebrows furrowed. "You scared me!" I say smiling. "Who's Daniel?" He asks. I stop walking. "What?" I ask confused. "Who is Daniel?" He asks again. His voice is cold and his face is filled with anger. "Tobias.." "You're cheating on me aren't you?!" He accuses. "What?!" I ask shocked that he would say something like that.

"Don't lie. Don't make excuses, he texted you. Said he can't wait for tomorrow. To have some fun!" He says. "You read my texts?!" I exclaim. "Yeah and I'm glad I did." He says. He's really pissed. "Tobias, it's not what it looks or seems like." I try to explain. "Then tell me tris! Tell me!" He yells. I flinch and his face soften a bit.. Only a bit.

"He's not my boyfriend tobias.. You're my boyfriend!" Tobias rolls his eyes. "He's my cousin. He's flying in and I haven't seen him in three years!" I explain. Tobias's face softens all the way and you can read the guilt in his eyes. "Tris im-" "sorry? I know." I say. I walk into the bedroom and he follows. "I really am." "I just wish you had a little more trust in me." I say while changing into a grey tank top and some black short shorts. I pull my hair into a messy bun, and put in a black headband.

"I do. I do trust you, I just was paranoid I guess, I just.." He's getting flustered. He wraps his hands around the back of his head and looks so frustrated. "Ugh! I don't want to loose you!" He yells. The yelling isn't mean or rude, but filled with sadness and love and a hint of future hurt. "Tobias." I run up to him and hug him, hard. I hold him close to me and he kisses my temple.

"You won't loose me. I love you. I always will." I say and kiss him. "Can I meet this cousin?" He asks while wrapping his arms around my waist. I laugh. "Maybe." I say and kiss him lightly again. "Let's go watch a movie." Tobias suggests. "Sounds perfect." I say as we walk out together.
