I felt in Heaven as I relaxed in the pool with a nice view of the ocean afar. It was nothing but peace and quiet surrounding me. One hand held the Tequila Sunrise while the other held my phone that kept me occupied.
Waking up to the beauty of Miami was already the highlight of my day. A chef prepared breakfast for me and I was left alone to relish the delicious omelette and fruits.
Afterwards, I changed into the two-piece swimsuit and took in the beautiful weather. Angel was on my mind so I called him. I was happy to know that he was spending quality time with Jay without me or Chace around. From the looks of it, they were enjoying themselves on a Jet Ski and that's all I wanted for them both.
I eventually slipped back into the pool before setting my phone up and calling Josh. When he didn't answer on the first few rings, I tried again until he finally answered.
"Damn, you wasn't going to pick up for me?" I questioned with a slight attitude. I noticed he was still lying in bed but that didn't change my stance. I needed an answer on the first ring or I would flip.
"I was asleep," He answered in a groggy tone, "What are you up to?"
I peeped the time, "It's 10am and you're still asleep? That's unlike you."
"It's 9 here babe."
"So? You're never in bed for that long Joshua. You had a long night?"
He sat up a little, "Kinda. Madison ran me crazy all day yesterday. I was up all night waiting on Sabrina to get here and pick her up."
"Hm, why? I thought you kept Madison for an entire weekend?"
"Supposedly, but Sabrina says her parents wanted to see Madison before they left for their trip to Germany."
"And what time did she pick her up?"
"A little after midnight. Damn, what's with all the questions Beyoncé? Sounds like you're looking for something to be upset at right now."
I rolled my eyes. Maybe I am being a little bitchy, but only because I missed my man so much and I wasn't getting the vibe that he missed me. I did most of the texting and calling, while he acted as if I wasn't important. Yes, I'm in my feelings.
"I don't know," I said while letting out a sigh, "I just miss you. The feelings aren't mutual, I guess."
"Girl, stop with that. I don't answer on the first ring and now you think I don't miss you? I'm just giving you space and time to enjoy Angel. If I was calling you 24/7, you would think I'm up your ass."
