Second Person's POV
You turned around facing your mate as (T/n) was still burning in vermillion flame. You made your way back to Rindou and untied the rope on his wrists. Seating up himself, he immediately surged forward to hug you. The moment his warmth enveloped your entire being, the red glow in your eyes faded. Your eye colour returned to its normal state.
You shakily returned the hug , as your mind recalled all the violences and murders you committed in such a short time. You did it again. Losing control of yourself and unleashing your violent side free. It was frightening you of how brutal you could become.
"I'm glad you come back." Rindou remarked, his hands clutching the back of your top. You tightened the embrace, hugging him to your heart content. You succeeded this time. You managed to save your mate's life.
History wasn't repeating itself.
"Thank you, (Y/n). I love you so much. D-Don't leave me again, okay?" Rindou begged, burying his face in your shoulder. You nodded your head understandingly, agreeing with his pleading. "I'm sorry for doing that. I just want to protect you, Rin. I don't want you to end up with the same fate as Arian. I love you too much. I can't lose you too."
"Mhm, I know. I could never be mad at you for that. The important thing right now is you are here with me." Rindou was never angry at you. He rubbed your back comfortingly to soothe you. "You don't need to worry about your life anymore, Rin. Everything is over. Nobody will get in our way anymore." You exclaimed confidently.
You had annihilated your twin, the only creature on this earth who would do anything to destroy you.
"YOUR MAJESTY, WATCH OUT!'
Amara's scream intervened with the moment and you instantly turned around. Your hands instinctively gripped Rindou's shoulders and forced him to untangle his body from yours. A blade suddenly penetrated your shoulder and your scream erupted in the room.
It was (T/n), still breathing despite the major burnt damaging her body.
"Rin! (Y/n)!" Ran yelled out the names of his beloved ones. (T/n)'s steps were wobbly and unstable as she was backing off. Amara and Ran rushed to help you. The female vampire knocked down (T/n) whilst Ran went toward you. The knife in (T/n)'s hand was confiscated by Amara and then thrown toward Rindou's direction.
It was lying next to Rindou.
Your palm clamped the bloody wound. You were breathing raggedly. The injury wasn't healing.
This was poison.
Realizing that, you hurriedly focused your healing power on your belly to protect the lives you were carrying within you. Rindou was panicking as well. Why was your wound not healing at the speed of lightning as it was supposed to be?
