A week later, Nighttime, At a bridge...
Second Person's POV
"Congratulations! You are blessed with twins, Rindou-sama, (Y/n)-sama!"
Mia had confirmed the truth and obviously, Rindou was overjoyed by the news. After that, his life just became better and brighter. This past week, he had been smiling non-stop and you adored this side of him.
So adorable.
Currently, you two just finished doing night grocery shopping together. You were walking on the bridge railing whilst Rindou took the normal alternative to walk. He didn't look forward to die due to drowning in the water.
You were playfully balancing your body on the railing, arms spreading open wide. Rindou wasn't worried since he knew drowning could not kill you. Plus, he was amazed by your skill. You were carrying some grocery bags in both hands yet you managed to keep your balance stable.
"Come on, Rindou. Walk on the railing with me."
"Nah, no thanks. I can't balance my body properly like you do."
"Don't worry. I can look after you. Trust me, darling."
Rindou was unsure. You squatted on the railing and put down the plastics on the ground. Rindou did the same and stared at you uncertainly.
"I don't know, (Y/n). I'm kinda scared.."
"Like I said, have faith in me."
You grabbed his wrist and pulled Rindou up. He was now standing on the railing with you. His legs were shaking lightly, afraid of falling into the water. He cling on you, arms wrapped around your shoulders.
"U-Um, honey... Let's get down, okay? This is enough... Already enough." Rindou begged. He might or might not have feared of water. But you shook your head, defying his request. Instead, you snaked your arm around his waist to hold his body still. "This better?" you asked, stroking the side of his hip enticingly. No doubt, your touch turned him on. He simply nodded his head, cheeks flaring.
The two of you stared at the water surface. You had a stone in your hand, one that you picked up midway while returning home. You hurled the stone toward the water. It skipped several times before sinking in deep in the water. Rindou was impressed. The stone skipped 10 times on the water!
"Impressive."
"Thank you, darling."
Silence fell upon the two of you. Rindou seemed to store many question in his mind since he occasionally glanced at you.
"Ask me anything... I will never get mad at you, Rin."
"Was it true..about you..um, murdering (T/n)'s child?"
