Four months had passed since Aayla and Bly had started their new jobs. During the weekdays, Bly and Aayla went to work, and on the weekends, they worked on building thier new house in the mountain alcove.

Reno helped build the house every day but he would often be pranking Bly or messing with him in some way. Sid occasionally came to help, but his hospital work schedule prevented him from having much free time.

Finally, after four months, the house was fully built.

"You'll visit, right?"

"Of course, Dhara."

"Now, if you kids need anything just ask me and you can have it, understand?"

"Yes, Dhara." Aayla said, smiling sweetly.

"And where are you going to stay, young man?" Dhara turned to Reno.

"They built a guest house for me for until I can get my own place."

"How sweet of you." Dhara said to Bly and Aayla.
"Run along, I know you're excited. See ya soon sweeties." Dhara shoved them out of the inn.

Twenty minutes later, they got to the house.

"We're home." Aayla smiled as she pushed back the hanging ivy leaves covering the alcove enterance.

"Nope." Bly pulled Aayla back by her arm and swiftly picked her up bridal style.

Reno, understanding his que, pulled back the ivy leaves for Aayla and Bly.

"Now we're home."

.oOo.

Aayla, Bly, and Reno spent the week days buying and making furniture for the house, along with finishing touches such as curtains. All of this was so they would finally have a housewarming party.

.oOo.

Bly woke up Saturday morning with Aayla in his arms, with his chin on her forehead. A warm breeze was moving the window and door curtains ever so slightly. The bed was in the middle of the wall, with a window on the left side, and a door-wall on the right. The glass sliding door led to a small porch on the side of the mountain, which had a direct view of the sunrise.

"Aayla," Bly said quietly. She didn't wake up.

"Cyar'ika," he said again. Once again, she did not wake up. Bly removed his hand from around Aayla's waist and used it to run his fingers down her lekku, earning a happy sigh from the sleeping Twi'lek.

"Good morning." Aayla's words slurred together since she was still have asleep.

"Good morning cyar'ika."

"Did I miss the sunrise already?"

"Nope. That's why I woke you up."

Aayla finally opened her eyes. "This is why I love you." She kissed the tip of his nose before jumping out of bed and running to the porch, just in time to see the sunrise begin.

Bly joined her a minute later, wrapping a blanket around her shoulders. "This is just like the sunrise on Simocadia."

"Except it's better."

Aayla and Bly watched the rest of the sunrise in silence. Once the sun had fully risen, Aayla turned around in Bly's arms, now looking up at his face.

"We should get ready for the housewarming party tonight."

"But it's not until later."

"Fair enough."

"May I have this dance?" Bly spontaneously asked.
