Links slate had a cool down time so he'd have to wait before teleporting again and the time can vary depending of the distance traveled. He had to grab his horse, Ben (Downed) and started riding to Kakariko village. It takes about 5 hours to get from Haneto to Kakariko with breaks, probably about 4 and half hours without them. Link hoped by the time he got back Zelda will be awake and healed but if she isn't then he decided to take her to his ,recently bought, house to rest.

While riding he had to soothe Ben down quite often "I'm sorry, but we can't take any breaks I need to get to Impa as soon as possible" Link said softly, Ben seemed to calmed down, he was a smart horse after all, always seeming to know what Link was saying.

Although Link couldn't spare a single moment he knew he had to stop so Ben could rest. They were half way there when Link slowed Ben down and got off "five minutes then we need to get moving again, I'm sorry we can't stop for longer". He pulled an few apples out from his slate for the horse to eat.

Those five minutes where up quickly and he was soon climbing back onto Ben's back to continue their journey. Link kept an eye on the time, the blood moon was due soon within the next two days and he needed to get back to Haneto before then. During blood moons he often protected the village as the moblins in the forest wondered in, mainly the silver ones. While adults could handle black pelt moblins and children red maybe blue they couldn't handle silver, everyone knew that.

Link couldn't help but grin when seeing the entrance to Kakariko village and immediately hoped off Ben. He normally greet the sheikah on his way in but he was in to much of a rush to even think about it.

He opened the door to Impas house rather quickly causing the doors to slam against the wall, she glared at him for that and he laughed nervously before signing. "Impa something happened, and I don't know if your going ot like it"
She nodded and gestured for him to continue. "I stormed the castle and took on Ganon"

He felt that was a good place to start but he knew she's be angry by the end. Although she already looked angry, probably because when he visited he was always told the sheikah would gladly fight along side him and so did every other race. "We started fighting, but after a while a puff of purple smoke appeared and when it disappeared Ganon was gone" he held his breath waiting to be yelled at for letting this happened but it never came.

"Link please continue, I know theres something your not telling me" Impa looked slightly troubled about this news but Link knew he had to tell her about Zelda.
"Once the smoke cleared Zelda was there, she was unconscious and covered in malice, she's currently with Purahs  resting but I don't know what happened or what going to happen" it wasn't hard to see that Link blamed himself for how things turned out.

Impa was in shock, she had been told that not only had Ganon magically escaped but princess Zelda was back and injured. She wondered how she could have let this happen, Link was supposed to rid Hyrule of Ganon but now no-one knew where he was.

She nodded, trying to think of what to do before speaking "you need inform the others, I apologize for asking this of you Link but you need to travel and inform every leader and warn them that Hyrule is even more dangerous then before. And if you can make a search party to find Ganon, he may have taken a human form again to hide" Link nodding, his slate had a new quest appear on the screen. He need to do this quickly.

"Before you leave, I must give you something, it's something I should have given you when you first arrived" Impa got up and walked upstairs before returning with a book, it looked like it once was a royal blue that faded to time. "This was once yours, I feel as though this may help with that memory of yours" she handed him the book.

Link brushed off some dust and in a faded gold wrote Diary, he was slightly shocked. He had diary this should definitely help him with his memory, he stored it in his slate for sage keeping as he headed towards the door. "Thank you Impa but I must get on my way now, I need to get back before the blood moon" Link left Impa's house and got back on Ben and they set back off to Haneto.

______________________________________

While writing this I actually rode my horse form Haneto to Kakariko which take 4 house and 45 minutes in game time, I plan on doing this every time Link travels by foot or horse. Anyway I hope you enjoy my rewrite of heart containers, I'll try and get the next chapter out soon.
