Where's Sylvan? He's never late, the teacher's pet he is. I hear someone knock on the door. That must be him. And yes, the door opens and a draining wet Sylvan is standing there. He looks so funny, with his wet clothes and his embarrassed face. She chuckles. He notices it and gives her an angry look. Now he looks even funnier. She looks away and tries to hide her smile. Then, he gets a speech from the teacher about riding a bike or something, she wasn't paying attention to it. He looks a little sad, and she feels a spark of pity. But she reminds herself that she hates him and it's still his fault that he was too late.

He takes off his coat and hangs it on the coat rack. When he goes to sit again, he takes off his glasses and cleans them with his sweater. She looks at his face and... wow. He looks so different without glasses, his eyes are deep brown and he has a perfect jawline. How come she never noticed it before? He isn't ugly, he's actually pretty hot. Stop. No, no, no. She hates him and he hates her, and that isn't going to change. And him being hot doesn't mean she likes him, she just established the fact that he looked good without those ugly, nerdy glasses.
