CHAPTER FIVE

“NEECHAN, HOW ARE YOU?”

You smiled a little by hearing your brother's voice on the phone call, you're in Ryoutei High together with the Sakamaki's. You decided to partways with them for a while to call Rindou

“I'm perfectly fine. How are you and how are things there? Any news about Tenjiku?” you asked while examining your reflection in the mirror on the girl's comfort room

“Tenjiku is expanding real fast, from 250 to 400. I believe this has to do something about your deal with our Father” although Rindou can not see you, you nodded your head

“When is our battle with Toman?” you started to twirl your finger on your braids while your other hand holds the mobile phone

“Approximately 2 months from now. Are you gonna be there? Doesn't really matter if you're gonna be there or not, i don't want you to get hurt again plus we'll surely take down Toman” You decided to go to the garden while still talking to Rindou over the phone

“I will be there. I'll be happy to beat them up, especially Mitsuya~” Rindou rolled his eyes in irritation when you mentioned Takashi Mitsuya

“You're so obsess with that guy, what do you need from him? Don't tell me you like him?” you laughed on Rindou's accusations as you sat under the tree on garden

“My, My, I just really love hitting his head hehe~” your brother didn't believe you but decided not to pry more

“What are you doing right now? Don't you have any work there?” he asked, you can hear the wind over the phone so you think he's on the veranda of the apartment

“I have none as of the moment. So, i'm strolling around” you felt bad from lying to your one and only brother but it can't help

“I miss you, Neechan” your heart warmed by the words of your brother.

Sure, he's sadistic and brutal as you but you're both soft on each other for you both know you has only him and he has only you.

“I miss you too~ But i need to hang up now, i'll call you later” you said as you noticed that the bell will rang soon

“Okay. Take care” and he hangs up the phone, you stands up and fixed your uniform before deciding to go to your next class

“What is that? Do you have a secret boyfriend, Strawberry-chan?~” you were about to leave when you heard that familiar voice of Laito

You look at the top of the tree and there, you saw Laito sitting on a branch with his amused face

“Laito-san, eavesdropping is bad” you said calmly still looking to him, he just smirked

“But I've never been a good person, Strawberry-chan” you step backwards when he jumped down in front of you

“Who's that boyfriend of yours? Does he knows that you're living with us? That you're living with a 6 guys and are vampires?~” he walked towards you, now you both are so close the in one move your nose will met his

“My apologies but i won't disclose these informations with you. I don't like people getting to my personal space” you smiled sweetly but threatening

“I don't know if Reiji already discuss these with you but, our number one rule is never run away from us~” Laito held your face using his one hand, his hands are cold

“If you'll try to run, we'll kill your man. But then if you'll choose to be polite and obey us, we'll spare him and let him have a life without you” you were enraged but you managed to calm your expression

How dare he threaten Rindou's life in front of you? You chose not to answer because you're seriously pissed off, your brain is thinking how to hit his head with any hard object

“Neh, Strawberry-chan, aren't you going to say something?~” you slapped his hand and step backwards before turning your back to him

“I'll go now” you just simply said before walking away, Laito just stood there while watching you, wearing his usual sly smirk

You're certain now that you can't escape from them after Laito threaten to kill Rindou which is not impossible for he is a supernatural creature. You can't really ask help on your father because first of all, he's the one who sent you in the den of the lions. Just what is he thinking?

“I just need to survive for 6 months and i will be free again. I'll goddamn hit their head one by one i swear to god” you mumbled, hitting their head won't really hurt them tho but still, you need to hit them.

You walked faster as you noticed that the students were already inside of their perspective classroom. You were about to climb the stairs when you saw Shu there, sleeping with his earphones on his ears. You decided to approach him so he can let you pass

“Shu-san, can you stand up for a while so i can pass?” you asked politely, but to your grimace, he didn't respond nor open his eyes atleast

You let out a sigh before kneeling in front of him, an idea popped into your mind. You moved your face towards his, and stop when it's only 1 inches gap.

“What are you doing, woman?” Shu immediately opened his eyes which make you smile

Your plan worked out, you pretended that you'll kiss him and knowing that he's a vampire, his sense should be sharper than yours.

“Now that you're awake, please move for a while so i can pass” you can't really walked pass when he's there because you'll trip

“...” you started to move away your face but he caught you and grabbed the back of your neck, your eyes widen when your lips met his

The kiss was only 5 seconds, he started to move his lips on your neck and you already know what will happen.

He bite your neck with his sharp fangs and started drinking your blood, you could only moan in pain and a little.. pleasure?

You pushed him to stop him and thanks all the saints because he did stop. You held your neck where he bite, he just stared at you and licked the blood that were on his lips.

You're not sure on how much the amount of blood that he sucked from you but your vision became blurry and soon dizziness take over. Before you fell on the stairs, Shu catched you

“Damn mosquito” those were your last word before darkness consume you
