Our whole day was spent in homeroom, which most people just spend talking
Teacher: All right, little birds. Find your nests, man. Float down. There we go, and we're in. All right, guys, normally we don't have exciting news this late into the term, but we have a new student joining us today, Braden Higgins. Hey, there's an empty seat over there, man. Why don't you go cop a squat? Or go that way, man. Take your own path.
Braden walked towards me and stopped at the seat behind me, he looked a lot like Marcus Higgins
Braden: No. I sit here.
Greg: Is your dad Marcus Higgins?
Andre: Yeah, I've known him since I was a baby. He's the funniest.
Greg: The best. Great, great man.
Braden: I want to smash his face.
Andre: Yeah, me, too.
Greg: Yeah, I hate that guy.
Andre: Screw him.
Y/N: You guys are weirdos
I turned around to Braden and introduced myself
Y/N: Hey, I'm Y/N, that's Greg and Andre, you can stick with us for the day, if you would like to obviously
Braden: Cool
Close to the end of the day the principal was talking over a speaker
Principal: And so, we've reached the end of another school year. Froot Loop? Ten months of learning, growth and, yes, hopefully, a little bit of fun. But the journey we began together, in September, does not end today. For education is a process that does not begin and end on some set schedule... Please let me finish. Return to your seats. Damn you! Every year, you do this to me! And this was my favourite shirt from when I was 12!
Charlotte: How you doing, sophomore?
Donna: Not bad, sophomore. Come here!
Y/N: Hey sophomores
Charlotte: Hey senior
Duffy: Hey, you're not a statue. You're an ass-tue.
Charlotte: Doesn't even make any sense.
Duffy: Shut up! What? What? What?
Keithie: Nothing! Nothing! Nothing!
After that scene I walked outside to find Greg and Andre
Andre: What's up, man?
Greg: Your dad picking you up?
Braden: Uh, I don't know. I told him it'd be cool if he stayed late at the soup kitchen, so it's on me.
Andre: Well, you can come on the bus with us, if you want.
Braden: Nah, how about we do something fun? How about we do something we're not supposed to?
Y/N: I don't know about this
Braden: Come on, it will be fun, live a little
We arrived at a fence that had No Trespassing signs, which I knew was an entrance to the quarry
Braden: "Keep out." That just makes me want to not keep out.
Andre: Heard our dads used to come swimming here, back in the day. They claim to be all squeaky clean, but I think they were nuts.
Y/N: I used to come here when I was little, it's alright, but I've never been this high before
When we got to the top, I made the mistake of looking down at the water and I realised how high we were, so I grabbed the closest thing to me which happened to be Greg's hand
Greg: College kids. We better go.
Braden: No go. Stay. Whoo!
Braden had jumped off the cliff into the water
Andre: He's nuts. Let's go.
We were about to leave when a college girl stopped us
College girl: Hey! Where are you guys going? Join the party. Here. One, two and three, Are you guys' freshmen?
Greg: No. We're seniors. We just became seniors, like, 20 minutes ago.
Andre: Not high school seniors, college seniors.
College girl: Wait a minute! I remember you guys. You're Scully. You're Boomer and you're Boomer's girlfriend, can't believe you guys are still together, Come here. I love you guys so much.
Greg: I love you, too.
Andre: Girl, I love you more.
Y/N: Hey! You're girlfriend is standing right here Boomer
College girl: I'm gonna go. Whoo! Body shots!
Greg: Seriously Y/N
Y/N: What? Anyway, let's go
Andre: No go. Stay.
Greg: Okay, okay. But what about these beers, man? If we don't drink them, they'll be onto us, and I'm not sure I'm ready for beer yet.
Andre: Wait, let's just dump them when no one's looking, then act like we're drunk.
Greg: Okay. Good idea.
They both turned around to pretend they were peeing
Y/N: Seriously guys, you couldn't have thought of another way
Greg: Sorry, Y/N
Andre: Alright, let's go
Y/N: I can't stay long, I have work soon
Greg: Okay, but please stay for a bit
Y/N: Fine
We went down to where most of the college kids were and started to dance, I was a bit awkward as I didn't feel comfortable around people I don't know, all of a sudden Greg came up behind me
Greg: Hey Y/N, loosen up a bit, have some fun
Y/N: Greg, I'm too awkward and I don't know how to dance like that
Greg came towards me and put his hands on my hips which sent a shiver down my spine
Greg: Let me help you
College girl: Are you guys as wasted as us?
Andre: Hells, yeah!
Greg: Put your arms around my neck, and just sway with me
Y/N: Okay
Greg: There you go, you've got it
We danced for a while but sadly I had to stop, when I stopped, I put my forehead on Greg's
Y/N: Greg, I've got to go, otherwise your mom will fire me
Greg: Okay, if you're late just tell her, it was my fault
Y/N: Okay, I guess I will see you later
Greg: Yeah
I let go of Greg and started to make my way to work
