Emerald's POV

"Shoe shopping!" I said happily. God, I love shopping, infact, I can go on like this forever.

"Are. You. Serious?" Aubrey said, dragging herself behind me. I really need to teach her to walk around the city instead of moping around the room and sleep!

"Come on. You want to look your perfectly best, right?" I asked.

She sighed, narrowing her eyes to me, "No one's perfect Em."

I rolled my eyes at that true fact. I grabbed her wrist and ran to the nearest shoe store. I can feel her hand turned cold as the wind made her.

"Stop!" She breathed, "Please, I'm not a sport person!"

But I didn't have time to listen to her because then, we stopped at the Ruby Shoes.

"No time to complain Aubree, in fact, we're here now." I said.

The logo said "Ruby Shoes" with ruby red coloured and it shone with fairy lights around the logo. I pushed one of the double doors opened and a swept of cool, air conditioned air went past my face.

"Ahh," I sighed in relieved. It was freaking hot outside and it almost burn my skin!

The shop played the music "Rockstar" by Reece Mastin loudly on each speakers and shoes from big to small was stacked neatly on the floor and the wall.

"Hey, check this out!" I said to her. I rushed to the leathery brown heels that might match her purple with brown belted dress. She rushed towards me and took a good look at the heels.

"Let me try it on." She said. I have her a look that said "DUHH" as I passed her the heels. It's pretty tall, like a four inch heels.

She wore the heels and it fitted every curve of her feet. She clattered the heels everywhere, impressed. I grinned at my another successful job at my fashion sense.

"Phew, at least this one isn't as bad as the dress hunt." She mumbled.

"If you had found that dress earlier, then we wouldn't had spent two hours looking for it!" I said.

She sighed, "True, Ms know-it-all."

"My new nickname, huh?" I grinned.

"Maaaaybe?" She said, holding back the 'a'.

"Guess we each got a new nickname we possessed then."

"What's mine?" She asked.

"Aub-" I paused, flashed my teeth and said, "REEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

"Haha, good one." She rolled her eyes. I grinned as she brought the heels to the counter. As we both expecting the heels cost about two hundred bucks, like the dress. So Aubrey took out her two hundred dollars out of her purse and the woman signaled her hand to stop her.

"Ma'am, the whole shoes or heels cost fifty dollars." She said kindly. We both stared at her as if she was joking.

"Am I hearing right?" Aubrey said, puzzled.

"I think not." I said.

"Ma'am, the signs are held everywhere around the shop, saying forty percent discount." The woman tried again. We looked around the shop, and sure enough, she's right.

"Woops." Was the first thing that came out of ours mouths. My cheeks heated in embarrassment as the woman laughed kindly.

"No pressure, just hand me your one hundred dollars and it's all set!"

Aubrey nodded and handed her one hundred bucks to her. The woman scanned the price tag and read the that price now cost thirty dollars. She gave the change to her as she put the heels inside the bag.

"Thank you!" We said together. The woman smiled and waved as we left the shop.

"Well, what da ya know; one embarrassing shopping time." I said, laughing. Aubrey joined too.

"Today is hilarious, do you think?" She asked. I nodded, still laughing.

"Sure."

~

"How do I look?" Aubrey asked, twirling herself and the dress flowed out nicely. Her heels clattered and I grinned.

"Perfect." I said truthfully.

Just as I inform you again, she's wearing a purple strapped brown belted dress with brown leather heels. While me, I'm wearing a bright green strapless dress and my green stilettos that will bring my dear Jack's eyes pop.

"Here, let me put some natural make up on you." I said. I know her past that she's not used to wear make up like me, and anyway, she still looks beautiful without it, because it stands out more.

"Okay." She agreed. I grabbed my make up bag from the bathroom and started putting her on light eyeliner, dab on some lipgloss and a bit of mascara on her eyelids. I can feel her heartbeats accelerated fast as I put it on because she's excited. I smiled as I finished the last touch of lip gloss.

"Done."

She looks up at the mirror and she looked herself with great shock.

"Is that me?"

I nodded excitedly. A bit of make up and she didn't recognize herself! She checked herself out and hugged me.

"Thank you Emerald." She said.

"That was nothing." I smiled, returning the hug. I know how she feel when she finally got it. One time in Christmas I finally got an iPhone 5 from Jack. If it wasn't for him, my parents wouldn't allow me to buy that to waste my freaking money.

I put on the same amount of make up Aubrey is wearing and quickly took my Gucci green purse. Aubrey took her purple long string bag.

Someone knocked on our door and our head darted to the same direction. I peeked through the hole and there stood Jack looking more fabulously hot in his V neck t-shirt and faded coloured jeans. I know what you're thinking; how could I check him out through this small peek hole?

"Emerald, stop checking me out through that peek hole! Let me in already." His beautiful, deep voice chuckled on the other side of the door.

"Or out." I mumbled. I opened the door and his feature looked even MORE amazing with him in front of me.

"Hey, I heard that." He said, kissing me full lips. I moaned under his breath as tingles shoot everywhere inside me. It didn't last long before Aubrey coughed purposely, trying to go back where we were.

"Oh sorry," Jack said, his cheeks colour is shaded pink.

Aubrey laughed, "Oh what are we waiting for then?"

I rolled my eyes, while Jack shook his head, smiling. I linked my hand with Jack and Aubrey and called out to no particular person.

"EMERALD AWAY!"
