It was the fourth Sunday of the month. That means that it was family Sunday. It was a tradition in the Francis family. Fourth Sunday was family Sunday and no one missed famoly Sunday. No one dared to. The three sons and two daughters of the Francis family was too afraid of the five foot seven beast that was their mother.

Even Kelvin Francis knew better than to make the woman he loved, upset on fourth Sunday. So when Kenya pulled up to the family home she wasn't surprised to see the five plus cars already near the house. This particular  day the temperature decided to make sure that it lived up to its name. The sun beamed down on her  and there was no clouds in the sky to shade her from it. Already she could feel her skin beginning to become slick from sweat.

Quickly she made her way to the back seat to pull out the cake she had baked before coming. It was still slightly warm but cook enough that the icing wasn't melting off.

"Auntie kenny!!!" The voices choruses.

"Whoa let you aunt get in the house. Let not make her drop the cake." Kevin laughed holding his little horde of minions  at bay until the cake was in the safety of the kitchen table.

"Don't even think about sampling the Mac n cheese." Bryan warned.

"Mama already smacked you huh?" Kenya smiled. Bryan glowered remember the pain of being smacked by a wooden spoon. It didn't feel any better now then it did when he was younger. But that's didn't stop him from trying every time.

"Almost got some this time." He smirked eventually.

"I see you finally arrived." Kenya turned to see her older sister  Briana called.

"Briana." Kenya replied in greeting. The twi had a strained relationship. One a business woman and the other a personal assistant. Briana being the bigger sister always assumed that she had to pave a way for Kenya and Kenya being the youngest child wanted to make her own way. It only made sense. She was the you gest out of five and it was hard to compete to see who was the most successful when you had a business woman in marketing, a model, a lawyers, and a CFO all in one family. It was safe to say that they didn't want for anything.

"Do not start you two. Hello darling." Bria Francis was a beautiful woman. She had curves that had made many men her day dizzy. She was truly a beau and each of her kids got some of her amazing genes.

"Hey mom. I brought a red velvet cake." She said jesturing towards the covered cake sitting on the table.

"Of all my kids you are the only one who got my skill in the kitchen." Bria smirked proud. She wouldn't say it out loud but her daughters desserts far surpassed  her own few recipes. But if one asked she would admit it.

"Hey aunt kenny."

"Well look at here. My you have grown Jess. Look at those dimples. You got that from your mama." Kenya smiled. Jessica was her middle brother, Kai's, kid. She was the eldest out of all the kids.

"Thanks auntie." The child smiled.

It took another hour to have all the conversations with the adults before the kids pulled their aunti away for some games in the backyard. The sun had started setting and the air was cooler Lowe the chances if her sweating hard.

When the time for dinner came around the kids and Kenya were pushed upstairs to wash up. When they came downtrend table was set and the feast was already out amongst the 12 plus seats at the table. Kenya couldn't jelp the watering of her mouth as her sights set on the pot roast at the center of the table surrounded by potatoes, carrots, squash and red onions. The spices drifted through the room making the smell of the dishes morph into one huge sensory overload that Kenya and the others were happy to partake in.
