Shadow goes to the Underground universe

Episode 3: Run for it!!

Shadow hopped over a fallen tree and went under a bush. These damn hedgehogs won't give up! Shadow thought, looking back.

He tripped on a fallen robot. It looked tall and like something Robotnik would make. It can't be.. isn't Robotnik- Shadow thought before getting interrupted by the same Sleet again.

"Freeze, hedgehogs! You're under arrest!" Sleet said. The other three hedgehogs fled without hesitation. I must be in another universe! Shadow thought.

"You! You're coming with me!" Sleet said, grabbing Shadow. "Let go!" Shadow said, slapping Sleet across the face. Sleet got yanked into the mud of a nearby swamp.

Shadow made a run for it, going as fast as he could go. He wanted to be out ASAP. Crap! I used my speed! Now they'll think I'm that faker's.. No.. That isn't my universe's Sonic, so that's not faker. Shadow thought after stopping by the hole where he thought he hid Rouge.

"Hey! What's your name?" He heard someone say from across him. It was a tan lion with blue clothing. "Shadow, you?" Shadow asked. "Cyrus. Are you Sonic's relative? I've never seen a hedgehog out of Sonic's family other than a robot before, but it was clearly one." Cyrus asked. If I say no, he might be suspicious of me.. Ooh! Idea! Shadow thought. "Who is Sonic?" Shadow asked.

"You don't know who he is? Wow." Cyrus said, clearly assuming that Shadow hadn't even heard of a blue blue before. "Robotnik? Blue blur? Anything familiar to you?" Cyrus asked.

Aha! I have an idea. Shadow thought. "Nope, but I am strangely familiar with the word 'Robotnik'." Shadow said, putting his idea to use.

"Huh." Cyrus said. "Well, follow me! I have a place where we can take shelter at!" Shadow's idea worked. Or did it?
