CHAPTER 6: CONFESSION

A/N. I'm back! Easier said than done.. we are now nearing the end of the story and it's now time to make decisions. Sorry for the long looooong wait!

At the VSF Headquarters...

"Taichou, someone is on the phone" A man said saluting in front of Sonny Brisko who sat in his table with files of folders and documents surrounding him.

"Tell whoever it is that i'm busy" Sonny grumble not looking at the man.

"But Taichou, you told me to tell you if Mr. Uki Violeta called" The man said as Sonny immediately grabbed the phone in his desk and dismissing the soldier who eloquently left.

"Uki?" Sonny called from the line as he heard a shallow breathing on the other line.

"Sonny.." Uki said weakly which immediately alerted Sonny.

"Uki? What's wrong?" Sonny asks standing up and gathering his things in haste.

"I'm okay, you don't need to come" Uki said as Sonny stops in his tracks.

"W-Why? What's wrong, Uki?" Sonny nervously asks as he sat back down on his chair.

"I just needed to talk to you.." Uki said as Sonny nodded but internally slap himself after he realize that Uki can't see him.

"What is it?" Sonny asks.

"Sonny, your old enough, you don't need me anymore. You have grown so much, so strong and brave" Uki started which made Sonny nervous, he doesn't like where this conversation is going.

"Don't say that-" Sonny started but was stopped.

"Let me finish" Uki sternly said as Sonny shut his mouth.

"I know what you've been through and i know how important i am to you, but don't neglect those who are around you" Uki said as Sonny remained quiet. Without any reply, Uki continued

"Life has never been easy, it will never be easy, but what makes it bearable are the people who we love and loves us. I know of your feelings, Sonny and you know that there's no future in it" Uki said and straightforwardly stated the truth.

'F*ck!' Sonny though as tears bream's in his eyes as he tries to stop himself from crying. Uki did not straightforwardly said it but he is basically rejecting him.

"My time is limited, so is yours. So, as my last request, live your life the way you want, and someday you'll fall in love with someone amazing and cool who will love you with all his heart" Uki said as rustling sounds can be heard from the background.

"I have to go, take care of yourself. I know this is selfish of me but please look after yourself and everyone" Uki said gently, when he got no response from Sonny, he dropped the call.

Sonny dropped the phone as tears run down his face, Sonny knew what was happening, he already knew.. and there's nothing he can do about it.

Groaning, Fulgur slowly opened his eyes adjusting to the light in the ceilings. His eyes roam around and it landed on a certain purple head guy sitting beside him.

"U-Uki?" Fulgur called as the man turned around with a smile on his face as Fulgur gently caress his face.

"I-I'm here..." Uki's voice cracked, oh how he missed Fulgur's voice, his touch, his everything.

"U-Uki!" Fulgur hoarsely exclaimed as he got up and pulled Uki in a tight embrace.

The hug despite Fulgur's metal arms are quite warm, It was only for two days but Uki missed everything about Fulgur. He had really thought that Fulgur had turn his back on him, that he left him forever.

All the worries, the constant anxiousness has just disappeared with one hug from the man he loves. Uki cried in Fulgur's shoulder, begging as his voice trembles in each every words as Fulgur stares at him wide eyed.

"Don't leave me, Fuu Fuu-chan.." Uki cried out as Fulgur grabbed his face with his hands.

"No, no, no, don't cry. I won't leave you ever, go that? I love you, Uki. I'll go to hell if i ever leave you" Fulgur said as he wipes Uki's tear stained face.

"So, don't ever leave me. This sickness of yours, don't mind it, okay? If you want to spend your days with us then so be it, i just want you to know, i will always be here for you, we'll go through all of the pain, the sadness, the happiness and the hardship together" Fulgur said as Uki stares at him wide eyed, feeling emotional as he cries and smiles.

"I love you..." Uki softly but lovingly muttered as Fulgur smiles and kiss his forehead.

"I love you more and most.." Fulgur said as he embrace Uki in his arms. The couple enjoying the comfortable silence around them, every moment is precious and they would rather spent it with each other.

On a slightly opened door, stood Shu smiling feeling the relief wash over him the moment his two friends has finally reconcile. He didn't have to worry about Uki anymore, he can finally leave Uki to Fulgur and he trust Fulgur would take care of his brother.

"Aren't you tired?" A voice asks from behind as Shu met face to face with the man who knew of his feelings.

"I don't know what you're talking about" Shu said as he closes the door softly as to not disturb the two and was about to walk away..

"You can't fool me, Shu" The man said as Shu stops.

"You love him" The man added as Shu clench his fist. So what if he loves his best friend's boyfriend? It's not like he was planning to steal him. He already knows that he stand no chance and it never cross his mind to take a chance, never.

"I know" Shu spoke out as he walks away not turning back to look at the man.

"Fulgur will never love you back" The man said again as Shu stops in his tracks and turns to glance at him and smiles sadly.

"It's okay, I already know and accept that. As long as Uki is happy I am happy" Shu said as he turns his back once more about to leave but stop for a bit before saying a few words.

"You are in no position to say anything, Alban"

Alban stares at him as he disappears in the corridor and then went to look at the door to Uki's room where he can hear laughter and happy chattering. He was about to open it but stop himself, he then tuck his hands in his coat and left quietly, disappearing through the hall full of people and his mind full of thoughts and questions.
