the following morning it took hours to get into the court room and ready with hugo but the judge finally called you both in for a 1 on 1 meeting about the papers.

you glanced over to hugo as he lightly nodded reassuring you that it was okay to say what you were about to say.

you-i cant just leave my husband. yes his made mistakes but ive forgave him over the past month and his not so well mentally he needs me. but i cant be there in the way he wants to be while im in love with another man. we are mutually friends

the judge smiled sliding the divorce papers to you both and you gladly signed the missing sheets.
she then slid them both into a seal to keep them protected and confirmed proof of your divorce.

she said standing up

and with that you and hugo walked out the room and you took a deep breathe falling into his arms

he thanked you as you stepped back he walked outside locking the office doors behind him
