"I got the job!" I said excitedly on my phone.

"Oh good!" Minhyuk said, "so, when are you gonna start?"

"In a week." I said.

"Cool cool." He said.

Then he paused.

"Are you ok?"

I looked at my phone, in confusion.

"What? I'm perfectly fine. Why?" I asked.

"I was thinking you might miss Changkyun. Do you?" Minhyuk asked.

There was a long pause for me.

"I do, and don't at the same time."

"What do you mean?"

"Like I said, he's too controlling and I'm taking a break from him for a while. And if I get pregnant, I'll probably die from childbirth." I said.

"Why would you think like that?" He asked.

"I don't know, I'm in a lot of stress right now. Maybe I'm overthinking." I said and laughed quietly.

"You have a couple of days to prepare, right?" Minhyuk asked.

"Yeah, like in four days." I said.

"Ok, good, good." He said.

I checked on the time on my nightstand.

It was six forty.

"Hey sorry but, I have to eat dinner. Maybe tomorrow we can talk more." I said and stud up from my sofa.

"No worries. Have a goodnight." He said.

"Bye." I replied and he hung up.

Then I let my hand drop.

I then stud up and begin to walk to my fridge to eat something.

I found some kimchi and pocompap.

I glumly brought it to my microwave and started to heat it up.

The timer went off and I uncapped it.

It was shriveled up.

"Ugh, even eating isn't worth it." I sighed and threw away the food.

Then I decided to get ready.

It was a new day at my new job and I wanted to prepare before hand.

I brushed my teeth and washed my face because I didn't wear makeup today.

Then I lay there in my bed.

And then I thought about Changkyun.

I wonder if he's doing ok without me.

The next day, I went to Hwayoung's office and opened the door with a smile.

"Good morning Hwayoung." I said.

"Good morning." She replied.

"Do we need anything today?" I asked.

"Same as usual, your laptop." She said.

"Alright." I said and brought my laptop from my bag.

Then Hwayoung stud up.

"Listen up, this is Park Sohyun, our latest recoup. Say hello and when you when you get a chance." She said:

"I'm gonna be her friend," Said a woman, "she's pretty."

I turned my head and saw a woman across from me.

"Hi! My name is Miyong." She said.

"Nice to meet you. My name is Sohyun." I said,

"And my name is Ara." She said.

"Hey, do you want to meet at the food court? I know some guys that you would like." Mihyung said and snickered.

"Ah no, I'm ok. I already have a boyfriend." I said.

"Ooo, what's his name?" Miyoung asked.

Do I really wanna expose Changkyun's name..? Nah, I'll not tell them.

"Sorry, he's sensitive about his name." I said.

"Oh, that's fine." Ara said and nudged Miyoung.

"Oh what. Sorry." She said.

"It's fine." I said.

"Bro, she has a boyfriend." Whispered Ara.

I smiled sheepishly at them and stud up from the chair.

"So, where's the food court?" I asked.

"Oh, it's down this hallway." Ara said and begun to walk.

I followed them until we reached the closed door.

"This is the entrance to the food court." She said.

Then Ara opened the door and stepped in. There were people laughing and people ordering food.

"What do you usually order?" I asked them.

"Well, it changes everyday. Today, they're serving meso soup and pokumpap." Ara said.

"Um, sure, I'll have that." I said and stepped in the line.

They followed me.

"You're gonna have the same thing as me?" I asked.

"Yes, since the meso soup's good." Ara said.

"Alright, I'll trust your decision." I said.

We stepped in the line and when it was our turn, a guy asked what we would like.

"Hi, can I have the meso soup and pokumpap?" I asked.

"And also can I have the dumplings and rice?" Ara asked.

"And finally, can I have kimchi soup with rice on the side?" Miyoung asked.

The guy typed it in a computer and gave them a thumbs up.

"That was fun." I said and sat down.

"Really?" Miyoung asked.

"Yeah." I said.

"Ordering food?" She asked.

"Uh huh, without my boyfriend. It was fun." I said.

Miyoung frowned.

"Don't you like your boyfriend?" Ara raised an eyebrow.

"I do, but I'm just taking a break from him." I said.

"Uh huh, yeah, I'll not ask questions about that." She said.

I smiled and begun to eat.
