Author's POV. Just another plesent day at the kingdom Panchal but it was not very pleasent day for Maharaj Drupad because of the insult he faced.
He was defeated by the kurukumars specifically Pandavas and also half of his kingdom was taken by Dronacharya and now he was burning with fire of revenge.
He arranged a yagna for getting a son who can take revenge from Dronachrya, during the yagna he also had a thought of getting a beautiful daughter who will marry Arjun.
He was very impressed by Arjun's fighting skills and the way how he defeated him so easily, he wanted to have Pandavas support so he can conquer more kingdoms and become powerful again. Suddenly there was an Akashwani.
Voice : Drupad, the gods are very pleased by your devotion they want to award you by blessing you with a son and 2 daughters.
Drupad's smile faded hearing 2 daughters, he wanted only one and the other one would be completely useless like Shikhandi.
He will see which one of his daughter was more beautiful and will get her married to Arjun and the other would simply be neglected or disowned.
The fire started to take form of a male figure and then a well built man in yellow dhoti walked out, he came towards his new father and touched his feet.
Drupad smiled and embraced his son then named him Dhristdhymn suddenly the flames became bigger and then a beautiful girl emerged.

Drupad looked at her and gave a slight smile because he found her extremely beautiful, she opened her eyes and looked at her father smiling.

Drupad looked at her and his smile immediately widened because he found the second fireborn more beautiful than the first.
The first fireborn princess realized that this was her younger sister and smiled at her brightly the second fireborn princess looked at her and gave her an uninterested look completely ignoring her bright smile.
Both the girls walked down the stairs and stood in front of their father joining their hands.

Drupad inspected their faces closely and confirmed that the second fireborn was much more beautiful.
Both the females bend down to touch their father's feet but Drupad only blessed the younger fireborn. The first fireborn princess felt broken but smiled either way.
He cupped the cheek of the youngest fireborn and said.....
Drupad : you are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen I am blessed to be called your father from now on you will be known as Drupad Kanya Draupadi
He continued to smile at Dhristdhymn and Draupadi whereas the first firborn felt neglected, she expected her father to name her first because she was elder to Draupadi.
Realizing that he forgot to name her she smiled a little sad smile and said in a slightly broken voice.
First fireborn princess : Pitashree, will you not name me? What should I be called?
Drupad finally acknowledged her existence and gave her a slight disgusted look.
Drupad : Call yourself anything you want girl, I don't care and also how dare you call me Pitashree call me Maharaj Drupad.

Dhristdhymn looked at the first fireborn princess with a sad look he felt very bad for her where as Draupadi was trying to control her laugh because now she knows for sure that no one will replace her.
