Chapter 17

Amanda was chilling with Meg and Chad in their apartment.

"So how'd you end it?" said Amanda.

"I told her she was becoming a git and she threatened to throw me off a cruise ship" said Chad.

"And coincidentally, a cruise ship is where he met me" said Meg.

"Wowie kazowie! That is a coincidence" said Amanda.

Chad's door then received three knocks.

"Meg and Chad?" said Jeremy's voice in between knocks.

Chad answered the door and said "Hello, Jeremy".

"Hey there, Chad the lad. Meg" said Jeremy.

He walked in and noticed Amanda.

"I say. Who's this other girl whom I somehow know is not from here?" he said.

"That's Amanda Schaefer from the future. Amanda, meet my singing partner, Jeremy Clyde" said Chad.

"Hey" said Amanda.

"Well, how do you do?" said Jeremy shaking hands with her.

"Jeremy, she's from the future. She knows everything about everything from here" said Meg.

"Except us. She only knows what Disney film I'm in" said Chad.

"Good golly! Chad and I must not be as big in the future" said Jeremy.

"Are you big here?" said Amanda.

"Absolutely we are. Why, we're one of the biggest folk duos. If you only know Chad from a Disney film, you probably know absolutely nothing about me" said Jeremy.

"Sorry. I don't know anything about you, Jeremy" said Amanda.

"You'll learn in time, luv. Meg, how do you know this girl anyway if she's a time traveller?" said Jeremy.

"We met her a long time ago. It was pretty crazy really" said Meg.

"What difference does it make how you met? The point is you met and you're friends" said Chad.

"I guess you're right, Chad. You're awfully nice" said Amanda.

"Yeah. He was nice to me ever since I met him" said Jeremy.
