they sit on the hood of the truck so happy. so goddamn happy. nothing will get hen off the smile high and the way they basically tangle themselves into each other isn't helping much either.
even in the dipping sun, with some stars appearing here and there, they think of all that has happened between the two, and they are so goddamn happy.
and with their used chuck naylors, skinny jeans, and ruffled hair, they know everything is alright. even if their parents have fights, they have no idea where the future is headed, and they can't even properly say a joke without laughing before the punchline, they know they will be alright.
because they are so goddamn happy.
