A poem about love

I pity those who claim to have a heart but have never felt the feeling of love

Because a heart without love is just as lifeless as a winter tree

Because a heart without love is just as dead as a vast sullen sea

Some people might retreat
Some might simply not agree
But I can guarantee
That the idea of love
Is as beautiful as it can be

It comes so unexpectedly
It hits you like a sweet melody
And when it does, oh when it does
It leaves a mark for eternity

A/N: hey y'all. Hope you enjoyed this one💕
That's the first poem I've ever written in my entire life. While thinking about a very special person to me! Pretty short I know, but that's just how I write most my poems. Some might get longer though, so stay tuned for the next one.
