Sorry the review is a little late today, I had something going on. Anyway, here it is!Plot: After getting Asphera to the monastery, but failing to get her staff, the ninja intercept a delivery truck to get it back. However this turns into a problem when the classic ninja are interrupted by the new ninja. They do end up getting the staff, but they also accidentally reveal their identities and become public enemies numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.
Things I enjoyed:
- The lighting and animation are absolutely fantastic throughout the whole episode, especially during the car chase scene.
- I really liked the camera work in the truck scene.
- Pixal is so sassy in this season and I love it! It's nice to see her in more than one episode per season for once.
- The Kai and Pixal thing when he called Cyrus Borg was hilarious! 😂
- I loved seeing Cyrus in the wildbrain animation!
- Cole was so excited about the black paint! 😂
- How is Pixal building those vehicles so fast? I hope this means there's a subplot of some kind coming.
- Andrew Francis's lines sound more like the old Cole now and I like that better than the deeper voice only because he doesn't sound as much like Morro now.
Things I didn't like:
- Kai and Skylor need more moments of just the two of them.
- I don't trust those new ninja. I don't know why but I just don't. I mean why would the teal one hit Zane's helicopter like that?
- Asphera's voice is fitting for her character, but I have always found it very annoying and I still do. 😑
- the ninja are still horrible at not using their real identities.
Favorite line:
"When things don't make sense, I just ignore them." -Kai
Overall score- 8/10
