At late evening.. Malhotra mansion

Coming out from restroom Manik picked up his phone and opened instagram.. a name in suggestions caught his attention which read "NanDini MuRthy"
Without thinking for a moment he sent her the request and also added Navya and Abhimanyu who had their accounts public.

Nandini's POV:
I was just lying on my bed scrolling through instagram when the notification popped up "The Manik Malhotra" requested to follow you. Chuckling at the "The" I accepted his request and started following him too.

*Aiyappaaaa..  7842 followers and just 187 following.. kya baat hai.. waah.. hmm.. bio mein.. music lover.. hmm suna tha ki lead guitarist hai ye space ki band ka.. short tempered.. dekh k hi lgta hai temperature high raheta hoga.. hot punjabi 😂 okayhh... Hmm... Posts bhi kafi uploaded hai.. cool*

I had just started to scroll when the notification popped up *nandini_murthy started following you*
Oh so she did accepted my request.. opening her profile..
*120 followers and 97 following.. hmm introvert lgti hai.  Bio me.. colours are love.. (chuckling to himself) hmm.. unique bio😂
Posts..  schhi introvert hai ye yaar..  8 posts wo bhi painting ki.. but she is a good artist.*

Clicking on the message window I texted her getting a reply within a moment..

Arreeh yaaar... Manik se baad me chat krti hun abhi chachi k saath kaam krwa k aai.

Nandini's POV:
Arreh bahut late ho gya re.. bina btaye chat chhod di maine.. pta nhi bura to nhi lga hoga na usse??
Picking up the phone..

*Hey! Sorry Manik.. wo na chachi ne bula liya tha actually.. toh went downstairs..
my day at college was amazing.. bs Navya ki wjh se ek lecture miss ho gya tha..
aap btao.. aapka din kaisa tha?*

Manik's POV:
Entering the room I just picked my phone to see her name in my notification bar.. she replied 12 minutes back... Cool!!

Manik:
Hey it's okay! Nice to hear that ur day was good nd Nandini it's cool na to miss a few lectures we are in college now.  Don't be a kid!
And thanks for asking but we just had single lecture today which I and mukti obviously bunked

Nandini:
Oh u bunked the lecture? But mukti dragged u na to attend it?

Manik:
Yeah she did! But we don't like that economic wala sir so.. planned to bunk the lecture 😉

Nandini:
Oh but we shouldn't bunk na we r there to study.. so we should attend lectures regularly

Manik:
hn but kbhi kbhi chlta hai nandini😂

Nandini:
Okay and Manik u can call me Nandu.  My friends call me that only.

Manik:
So does that mean m ur friend already NANDU? 😏

Nandini: (unknowingly blushed on his virtual teasing but composing herself texted..)
Manik.. bye.. I need to sleep and have to do my chores before that.

Manik:
chores? At 10?

Nandini:
Yeah need to brush my teeth, wash my foot, change my clothes and pray to aiyappa.

Manik: (what? She is really a kid yaaar! A cute one but)

So abhii to chat pe zaraa si baat hui hai.. aage dekhna hai ki best friends bn ne tk ka safar kaisa rhega?
