━━━ "SAMMY HAS BEEN EXCELLING IN A FEW SUBJECTS SUCH AS MATHS, SCIENCE AND FRENCH."

I sat on one of the uncomfortable, short chairs that I had once sat on as my time as a third grader. Sammy sat beside me, his hands clasped together, anxiety shown through his bouncing leg. The teacher in front of us was one that I hated, hated for years. I was pretty sure the feeling was mutual.

"Well, I've been teaching him French in our own time," I told the teacher, "and he's always had a knack for the science-y subjects. He's been ahead of the whole grade since year one."

"Yes, yes," the teacher said, waving offhandedly and shuffling papers. "However, his reading and history, and well. Everything single other subject are severely lacking in marks. He finds the subjects boring, and therefore becomes uncooperative in class."
