"Hubby, I had a surprise for you!" I whispered, standing near the wardrobe.

"Yes, tell me" He asked causally, while buttoning his long sleeves around his wrist. I got out the wristwatch and raised my hand to show him.

"Tell me, baby" He whispered stuffing his phone in his pocket.

"Look!" His eyes rolled over me and landed on my hand.

"My watch!" He jumped in happiness, taking the watch from me.

"Yeah, your mom's gift" I smiled riffing his hair.

"How you got it? This watch I?" He murmured flying to our memory land.

"Don't struggle, you pledged it to buy a ring for me."

"But how you found it?" He asked standing straight.

"You kept the receipt in my locker. I traced the address and paid the amount collecting the watch. I know it's important in your life. Happy Birthday, hubby!" I wished hugging him.

"My birthday?" He whispered surprised smiling.

"Yeah, we all remembered. We thought to celebrate, but because of Maya's delivery, Mom struck with her. Don't mind I had a surprise tonight," I smiled pulling his cheeks.

"Will be waiting, Wifey! First, wish me for today's meeting," He asked kissing my forehead with love.

I bid a bye patting his hand. He is loving me, caring for me, and most importantly my feelings matter him a lot. He healed me with his love. In these five months of marriage, he loved me like a princess. We had an endless talk and happy love life. I never expected him to be away physically, but he stood high overcoming his urge. I think it's time to start our family, but I was nervous to express my desire.

My life was so blissful with my companion. I'm the luckiest human in this universe. My hard work paid me off all because of her.

She knows everything about me and cares about me a lot. A great wife and the best partner in my work, she helped me to gain more clients. I realized that love can stay last long even without getting physical. In these five months of our marriage, we grow stronger than friends and known a lot about each other.

Not to mention I even learned how to shop monthly groceries, including quality and quantity. We got blessed with a sweet nephew from Maya, my mom was struck with her, and my wife took all responsibility of our home and other maintenance properties, so she is at home and I'm in office. I wish to celebrate my birthday with her having endless talks, but what to do my fate.

I rolled the paperweight and looked at the file waiting on the desk for my attention. My phone started ringing. God, call from my dad! Oh God, please not today out of the town works, I can't waste my night also.

I prayed silently attending the call.

"Yeah, dad."

"Sid, due to some urgent paperwork. I'm going out of town now. Mike will be there give him a cheque of $1 million and also attend Mr. Edwards' conference call on my behalf." My dad told. Those words gifted me peace.

"When will you return?" I asked instantly to celebrate my happiness.

"Maybe tomorrow night!" He spoke.

"Ok dad, Happy journey!" I chuckled with joy and hung up the call.

None will be home tonight, we can shout, we can laugh aloud. We can scream watching a horror movie.
