If there was one thing you hated the most in the world, well, it was quite a few things you hated in the world. You hated people who recklessly went into situations by just killing everyone in sight, you hated the color of white, you hated that fucking suit that taunted you in the vast night. You hated how his glowing, white eyes stared at you mockingly during missions. You hated how confident he was with each mission trying to show that his ways worked.
You hated Jake Lockley. Khonshu approached you with the idea to Taweret that he needed you along with his missions. That you were one of the symbols of Justice in the night that brought good in the world. The offering to Taweret was a tempting one she couldn't refuse and she accepted on your behalf believing that you needed to socialize with others. Believing that you needed a partner.
You scoffed at the idea that you needed a partner because this partner was shit at his job. He would call you at random moments (in the night) to meet you in the most obscured places. He would tell you how he had a limited amount of time and would mock your techniques of how you handle particular missions. You hated him so much. He lacked in everything that you weren't good in but what you hated the most about him was that you lacked what he was good in.
