People might call me vansh hater or what so ever but i know that vansh was one of the main leads or should i say the only main lead i fell in love with (but that doesn't mean i would ignore all his flaws)
Even last night...i happened to stumble upon an old episode of roy track and i was literally drooling watching riansh
Lets make some things clear
I started watching immj2 when almost 50 episodes have already aired
And since epi 1 i lost my heart to vansh (maybe because of rrahul's charm)
I used squeal in excitement even in the scene when he was scaring riddhima because according to me it was riddhima's stupidity to agree to spy on a mafia just for the sake of her boyfriend
She really needed to be guided and i was hoping vansh would do that but he too misguided her
Kabir showed vansh as villian...but didn't vansh did the same thing
Bringing sunny who kept chanting that ragini was killed by vansh
Or by doing that drama with mrs dsouza for going into the backyard
All that firmed riddhima belief that he was indeed a criminal
If riddhima wanted to put him behind bars...than she deserved to be behind bars too (for being an unauthorised spy...which is definitely illegal)
Riansh could have been soo much better but the lack of communication and trust between them was taken advantage of by rai singhanias
There were instances when i hated riddhima too for example for making sia fall down just to protect herself from being exposed
But my heart also sympathised with her for many a times she was blamed for things she didn't do or the way she was treated
Any girl in her place would have left but she didn't
(And thats solely her mistake)
Whose who are obsessed with vansh to the point that they justify that vansh took revenge from riddhima because he was hurt....why dont you go out and find a man like vansh....and then we'll talk
When he came to know the truth from sia....he didn't even for once think that he should let riddhima go because she didn't deserves to live in a hell call vr mansion or leave along with her
He rushed to bring her back because he knew he wont find anyone else who would love him selflessly like she did and she became selfish
And the least writer could have done was to show that vansh would have atleast taken her to a therapist to cope up with whatever happened with her but no...he simply assumed that she was over all that trauma just because she forgave him
And its not vansh's fault only....riddhima was at fault too because she gave lectures to never be back in his life but came back 5 minutes later and even allowed flipper to do her arti and allowed vansh to fill her hairline
I don't think anyone thinks of the consequences of manali track
She could have been raped, kidnapped, murdered, tortured or what not
And what if she were pregnant at that time...after all he slept with her
What if her baby would have been harmed due to all the attacks and stress
What if her baby had suffered some abnormality because of ishani's push
And even if all that didn't happened....what would have happened when she would have been left all alone and helpless with a poor soul growing inside her
Does no one ever thinks of it???
I know alot of you will say that all that didn't happen but shouldn't he have considered all these possibilities being a husband who claimed to love her
I agree that vansh had been great at instances but he had also been extremely cruel at instances as well
(And mind you...relationships don't work like that)
As far as parent track is concerned, although I disliked the fact that he was trying to hide her parents truth from her (which no daughter....including us can never tolerate...let alone think from an orphan's point of view) i loved that little tint of obsession they showed in vansh...the way he was scared to loose riddhima satisfied me alot
In baby track....i understood vansh's fear all to well that is the reason i have never written anything negative on that track....but think from a pregnant women point of view too....her child was at risk....she was constantly getting attacked and getting abortion calls and her husband shushed her up even at the name of baby
There is no denying that he was drowned in pool of guilt and was devastated when he got to know about the abortion
But would his guilt be of any use if ishani would have succeeded in her dirty plans and the baby would have been killed in his mother's womb
Alot of people say that he took revenge because he loved her and her betrayal hurted him
He loved his family too
Why didn't their betrayal hurt
Why did he embrace his sister despite knowing that she was involved with vyom (because of her personal likeness for him)
But turned cold to his wife who had been going crazy to protect his life
There is one dialogue of riddhima that breaks my heart to no extent
"Main tinka tinka jor kar hamare rishte ko banati hoon (something like that) or ek hawa ka jhonka aa kar sab kuch barbad kar deta hai"
Such relationships are nothing but toxic
It was a show thats why they didn't show it properly but the way riddhima had panic attack or the way she was soo stressed she would have soo much complications in her pregnancy.....
Trust me i have studied embryology and fetus can never survive and be absolute normal in the circumstances he had been inside his mother's womb
Such relationships which have more of heated and hateful days than loved days never survive long and trust me i have seen such cases
There was a time when i too used to think that everyone deserves a second chance and i used to he on cloud nine after the female lead used to forgive the hero even after all his jerkness
But as i grew....realisation hit me soo hard and now when i think of it....i feel soo disgusted
All this doesn't mean that iam a feminist
I have hated some female leads to example of which was swara from swaragini when she left her husband because of her murderer and cheater sister
All this doesn't mean that I support kabir or riddhima
They were wrong too
Kabir especially
Dare i say he was worst but that doesn't mean that vansh was any less than him
And riddhima too had been bad
but she was the one who had suffered the most in the ego and enmity of two egoistic jerks
And the only thing i loved about immj2 ending was that riddhima got a happy ending and nothing else because she deserved it
