DISCOMFORT

Discomfort, a feeling we all know,
The unease that seeps from head to toe,
It's the prickling at the back of your neck,
The tightness in your chest that makes you check.

It's the restlessness that keeps you up at night,
And the nagging feeling that something's not right,
It's the fear that makes you hesitate,
And the uncertainty that makes you wait.

Discomfort is a reminder that we're alive,
That we're not just going through the motions, but thriving,
It's the push we need to step outside our comfort zone,
And explore the unknown, even when we feel alone.

For it's in discomfort that we find our strength,
And learn to push through the obstacles at length,
It's where we face our fears head-on,
And discover that we're capable of more than we've known.

So don't shy away from discomfort's sting,
Embrace it as the growth that it brings,
For it's through the struggles and the pain,
That we emerge stronger, and never the same.
