Burklee was sitting on the exam bed with her knees shaking

Pierson: What's wrong love

Burklee: I'm scared mum

Pierson: Everything is going to be ok

Burklee: What if she says I'm sick or I'll never be able to have kids

Her lip quivers

Pierson: Let's be positive. I know everything will be alright

Burklee sighs

*knock knock*

Pierson: Come in

Pierson: Hey Marianna

Dr. Morales: Hey Pierson, Who's this

Pierson: This is my daughter-

Dr. Morales: Ivanna?

Pierson: Oh no. Brent and I recently adopted again. This is Burklee

Dr. Morales: Nice to meet you, dear. My name Marianna Morales. Your mom is a very good friend of mine

Burklee: Nice to meet you too

Dr. Morales: How old are you?

Burklee: I'm 15

Dr. Morales: This year or last year

Burklee: Last year. I'm going to be 16 in 4 months

Dr. Morales: Ok, So what's the reason for today's visit

Burklee looks at Pierson

Pierson: Can I explain

Burklee nods

Pierson: We are worried because she hasn't started her period yet

Dr. Morales: Well right now, It isn't a big concern because it usually happens from between 10-16. It can happen any moment from now to her 16th birthday. After that, if she still hasn't started her menstrual cycle, then we can start running tests, AMH tests, scans and all that. At the moment, we can have an ultrasound to check to her ovaries to see if we can find some of her eggs. As long as she has developing eggs, there isn't much to worry about.

Pierson: Thanks so much Marianna. Do you want to take the ultrasound, Burklee?

Burklee: Does it hurt?

Dr. Morales: Not a bit

Burklee: Sure

*Time skip*

Dr. Morales points to the screen: Those are her ovaries and those little tiny dots are her eggs

Pierson: That's great

The Doctor moves the transducer around a bit more

Pierson: You want to prank your dad

Burklee: Sure. What prank?

Dr. Morales: Your going to pretend that she's pregnant aren't you?

Pierson: Yeah. We need your help Dr. Morales

Dr. Morales: I'm right here

Pierson: I'm going to record and Marianna, you point to the screen and pretend that the ovary is a baby

Dr. Morales: Ok

Burklee: They are going to freak out. 

Pierson: 3,2,1

Dr. Morales: And here is the baby. She should be around 13 weeks

Pierson: Oh my gosh

Then Pierson ends it

Pierson: I ended it

They start to laugh and Dr. Morales wipes off the gel

Dr. Morales: Like I said, everything is perfect. I'll schedule an appointment in 6 months in case, she doesn't end up starting in the next 4 months

Pierson: Perfect

Burklee: Thank you

Dr. Morales: You are absolutely welcome sweetheart!

They leave the clinic and sit into the car

Pierson: I sent just sent it to your dad

Burklee laughs: Ik

Pierson: You wanna go get ice cream?

Burklee: Hans Homemade, while we read dad's messages

Pierson: Ofc!

They high five and Pierson drives off

After they get their Ice cream, they sit at a booth

Pierson: There are 10 messages from your dad

Burklee: Oh noo! He messaged me too

*ring ring* *ring ring*

Pierson: Your dad is calling

Burklee gasps: Answer

Pierson answers and puts it on speakerphone

Pierson: Hello

Brent: Is it true

Pierson: Is what true

Brent: The ultrasound

Pierson: It is

Brent sighs in distress: What are we going to do?

Pierson: What do you mean

Brent: I'm not ready for this babe. Did you ask her how it happened?

Pierson: No. She's a bit quiet. She's just as surprised as we are

Brent: That's why she isn't on her 'you know what'

Pierson: ig

Brent: I thought she said she never started

Pierson: The doctor is guessing that she conceived right when she was about to start

Brent: How did that happen

Pierson: I don't know Brent

Brent: Can I talk to her

Pierson: Here Burklee

Brent: Hey Burklee

Burklee: Hey dad, I'm sorry

Brent: Hey hey hey, It's nothing to be sorry about

Burklee: I just don't know how you fell for this prank

Brent: It's o- Huh
