It was around 10 pm at the amp house and everyone was getting ready for bed. The kids were already asleep but the adults sleep far later than them

Burklee's POV

I was putting my hair in two braids when I remembered what Khadijah was telling me at school today

'You should get your hair braided then. You won't have to do the extra things you have to do with your natural hair in the morning and there are endless styles to choose from.'

I really wanted to get my hair braided. I have my style picked out and everything but I don't know what Mom and Dad will say.

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

Me: Come in

Mom: Are you getting ready for bed?

Perfect time to ask

Me: Yes, I have something to ask you though

Mom sat in my vanity chair as I was still working on my hair

Mom: What is it hun?

Me: I want to get my hair braided

Mom sat there thinking for a little

Mom: When do you want them?

I was shocked

Me: Seriously?!

Mom: Yeah, why not. I was thinking of getting Shani's done anyways

Me: On Saturday

Mom: I'll have to ask Eva, where we can book an appointment quickly because it's Thursday today

Me: Thanks mom

Mom: Your Welcome

She stood up

Mom: Get some sleep and Don't stay on your phone for too long or esle I'll change my mind

Me: Ok

I put on my Bonnet, set my alarm, plugged my phone in, and got into bed

Nobody's POV

Burklee, Shani and Pierson were on the way to the salon. Eva booked an appointment for early in the morning  because it can take quite a bit of time to get the hair braided. Once they arrived, they went into the salon. They were instantly hit with lively afrobeat and the strong scents of hair moisturizers. They see 4 people that looked like workers and 2 people getting their hair done

??: Good Morning Girls. Welcome to Curl and Coil Boutique. Do you have an appointment with us?

Pierson: Yeah, She has an appointment with Amaria and my little girl has an appointment with Jadè. Sorry for the late booking

??: ohh no worries. Well I'm Amaria, so you can follow me. I'll get Jadè to be with this little one shortly. Are you not going to get you hair done? We do thourough washes, curling and touch up for $65 and we don't have any more bookings till around 3pm

Pierson: Oh Sure! I have to go grab them some breakfast. I'll be back though.

Amaria: K, I'll put you in for 9:30, so an hour from now.

Pierson: Perfect, thanks

Amaria leaves with Burklee and they sit down on their couch

Pierson: Let me meet your stylist and I'll go buy you breakfast

Shani: Can I use my tabwet (tablet) when I'm doing my hair.

Pierson: Yes you may

Jadè: Hey, I'm Jadè. I'll be her stylist. What's your name sweet thing
