Yuki and Sage had been a little weird since their argument on Valentine's Day.

They did their best to pretend at school to be okay. But it was obvious. Uo and Hana had asked Sage about it.

Neither could seem to see how the other thought. It was... challenging, to say the least.

Final exams had just passed and Sage knew she passed those with flying colors.

She's forced herself to be a good student, to study months in advance, and to know every answer to every question when the time comes.

She can't help but feel, however, that maybe her insistence to do everything might be the reason she's having these issues with Yuki.

He was talking with Tohru, Uo, and Hana. In relation to everything, Sage sits close to the wall, next to Tohru. She was staring at the wood surface of her desk. She should say something.

"Sage, how'd it go? I bet you aced, it right?" Uo asked.

"I keep telling you to study with me," Sage said.

"But you study for months! It's so boring!" Uo said.

"I know, I haven't worked lately, so now that finals are over I should be getting back on a normal schedule" Sage explained.

"Your work ethic seems unhealthy, are you sleeping enough?" Hana asked.

"I get the normal amount of sleep as usual" Sage assured.

"So that's a no, then?" Hana questioned.

"What!?" Sage asked. Hana smiled at her and Sage rolled her eyes with a growing smile on her face.

Back at home, Shigure sighed as Yuki and Sage sat right next to each other.

"You two are being so immature. All this tension is beginning to make me sick" Shigure said.

Sage and Yuki stayed quiet. Sage happened to glance at Yuki at the same time that he glanced at her and they both got flustered and looked away.

"It wouldn't kill you to talk to each other, you know?" Shigure said.

"Shut up," the two said in unison. Sage stood.

"I'm... gonna take a walk" she decided.

She began heading out and Yuki chimed in.

"Don't forget a jacket" she would've rolled her eyes, but she smiled a little.

"Yeah" was all she said in response.

It was May so it was still a bit cold.

The grounds of Shigure's house were rather large. She hummed to herself, a tune from her childhood.

A little music box that sat on a nightstand beside a little girl's bed. It played a beautiful melody that soothed this little girl when she had bruises up her arms.

Sage thought about Yuki. He was worried, he wasn't angry so why has this last month been so hard? Why was Sage being so stubborn about it?

She turned around with conviction and began making her way back to the house.

She lost her confidence as she got to the door.

She took a breath and before she could open it there was Yuki, having opened it before her.

"Um- uh... hi" she greeted.

"Hi..." he said.

"Can... we talk?" Yuki nodded and he stepped outside.

"I'm sorry," they said at the same time.

"Huh?" Sage asked. "No. I should be sorry, I mean, I totally invalidated your feelings just because I thought it didn't matter which wasn't right" Sage said.
