Barb, Scylla, Keith, Dean, and Alyssa were on a transport ship to Tokyo provided by Maria who got physical proof from Alyssa that the hollow earth monster in it could be weaponized, so she sent a ship to pick them up and escort them from Washington DC.

Barb: are you sure you can live with us killing your sister

Alyssa sighed then slumped to the ground with her back resting against the wall

Alyssa: my sister doesn't get that you guys -monster included are living breathing creatures with compassion and wisdom

Y/n dropped the team of on a island near Tokyo and stopped by one of his underwater lairs with anguirus
