Final-year students won't come they have practicals going on! Why are you not coming?

Simran's POV
As we reached the Campaign I saw a large group of children! I couldn't help but wonder how lucky I am! I have been blessed with all the resources and all the facilities and here these kids a lot of them don't even survive up to adulthood! Sometimes I feel my MBBS facilities and the money I earn my studies suddenly everything becomes meaningless when I see so much suffering around me!
Kavya:- Again daydreaming?
Simran:- Hann?
Kavya:- I said Shubman ke baare main khule aankh se kya band aankh se v sochegii phir v out of range batayega
Simran:-Nahiin I was thinking something else! Anyway, leave it! Chalte hai!
Dr. Neil:- You are late by 4 minutes Miss Nayak! You were supposed to reach at 9:30 am It's 9:34! I guess 4 hours of overtime would do!
Simran:- Thank you, sir! I really wanted to spend more time with these kids serving them with all I have! See you
Kavya:- 4-minute ke liye 4 ghante if it would have been 24 mins ek din ka over work karata kyaa
Simran:- Chhod na! He can never get happy with whatever I do!
Kavya:- Exactly! Btw do you know who the sponsor is?
Simran:- No! Dean said he specified not to disclose his identity! He doesn't want to publicize anything! In his words "It's not some ad shoot sir! I am doing this cause I want to I am not doing it for the headlines"
Kavya:- Wow!
Simran:- I will meet you afterward! See you around okay
Kavya:- Yup
As I moved toward the set up a kid rushed towards me and collided!
Simran:- Arey! Kis baat ki hadbadi hai aapko?
Aur naam kyaa hai aapka?
Kid:- Rakhi!
Simran:- Okay Rakhi! Bhaag kahan rahe the aap?
Rakhi:- Wo wahan biscuit de rahe hai na! Mujhe apne bhai ke liye lekar jaana hai !
Simran:- Aapko v milega yahan ! Wahan itnaa tezz bhagoge girr gaye aur chot lagg gaya toh!
Rakhi:- Khoon niklega! Wo toh roz hotaa hai! Biscuit thodi roz roz miltaa hai didi!
Simran:- I felt a sharp ache in my heart! Hearing her say "roz hota hai" with a huge smile plastered on her face as if it was some sort of achievement and also the fact that these kids don't even get the daily requirements sent chills down my spine!
Why do you do this! You give so much privilege to someone that they are born with a golden spoon and then there are these kids who strggle to stay alive

I was getting ready to go for the campaign! It was the first time I got involved in something as such!
Every time I either sent Mumma Papa or helped organize such a thing financially.
But this time Papa wanted me to go and honestly even I felt excited about going there!
And I would be lying if I said it was something that I wanted to do forever!
I never felt a need to do anything as such!
But after we attended the ICT campaign for the elderly and needy! I felt as if helping people in your capabilities is what gives your work true meaning! That was the day when I realized everything that I had done before was so hollow!
Keart:- I am so proud of you Shubi.
Shubman:- you don't have to be mumma! I should have started doing this long before! I am already late for it!
I really understand now why Papaji always said to count my stability twice when I count on my blessings
Keart:- Tujhe samajh aagaya yahii bahoot badi baat hai! Kitno ke toh zindagi nikal jaata hai sirf apne baare main sochte sochte
Shubman:- You always find something good no matter how much wrong I do haina!
Keart:- We will talk about it when you will become a parent!
Shubman:- Din vich aankhein khule karke sapne vekh rahe ho tusi!
Keart:- Sapna nahiin future dass rahii aan main
Shahneel:- If you both are done! Can we please have breakfast? Papaji wait kar rahe hain
Keart:- Main jaa rahi! Shubi jaldii aa jaana.
And she left
Shahneel:- Planned it was right?
Shubman:- What was?
Shahneel:- Going for the campaign to the same college that your girl from the night studies in!
Shubman:- Shut up! The campaign was planned way before! And also it's the final-year students who are organizing the stuff!
Sudhir bhai told me and besides I don't know in which year she is!
Shahneel:- But you want her to be in the final year! Right
Shubman:- No! Today my focus is on the campaign! Doesn't matter whether she is there or not
I thought

I screamed as she went downstairs

After having breakfast I left for the campaign It was a smooth drive! And as I proceeded I couldn't help but wish her to be there!
