Okay so, right off the bat, like the title says for this update, I may be starting over from scratch.. the character of Diathene and her design, as well as back story kinda got a bit... how you say.. 'bland'. Recently I have been drawing her, and basing it off of her original design, a.k.a the prototype which was a bit more... crazy?? Personality wise, that is.

Recently, I've been looking back on her old design and thought the following: what would Diathene Kokuyōseki be with a design like this? Well.. I went ahead and thought it through.. and I absolutely love the result!

I, of course, love explosions. They are the fucking best! But she won't have that as a quirk, oh no, she will have the immunity of being damaged by explosions! Now you might be wondering, "Dj, that quirk isn't like Diathene, she won't be able to fight!" We'll worry not my dear reader! For the solution is simple! She is a demolitionist! She creates bombs, land mines, you get it! But that's not the only thing she creates! She's a brilliant inventor who can create anything out of everything! Which brings me to her living space. She lives in a junkyard! Why, you may ask? Think about it, making things out of junk that nobody uses anymore? It's brilliant!
Now I know what you have probably picked up by now.. she seems to have similarities to the overwatch character, junkrat.. well.. I did take inspiration towards the character. But I didn't copy it right off the bat! After all, there are many characters, ideas, and creators out there. Everything has been done at least once before.
I for one really want to see where this can go.. but I really don't know if I should.. it's still a thought in my head since I have a bunch of TikTok videos I put a lot of time into.. so it will take a bit to think of what I should do.
Until then, I hope everyone enjoys what I have to offer.. I really want this fanfic to be a good one!
