"It's Just A Dream" || Ranboo Angst Story

Tommy's Birthday (a little different than expected)

Ranboo woke up to Tubbo in his face. "AH- Jesus Tubbo" he yelled. "Sorry sorry, it's Tommys birthday today! His 18th!" Tubbo smiled, moving back. "When are we going to see him?" Ranboo asked. "Pretty soon so we better get up and eat before we go". "Ok" Ranboo smiled as they both got dressed first before going downstairs and eating, Tubbo doing his best to help with that situation but it didn't take long anyway so it was fine. "I think we're ready to go, I've got the bracelets and that's really all we need" Tubbo said as he put his shoes on. "Yeah?" Ranboo said, joining him. They both soon left to Tommys house, seeing a 'Happy Birthday!' sign above the front doors with balloons, also seeing Niki and Jack talking outside. They all waved to each other before going back to what they were doing.

"Techno and Phil definitely helped him with this" Ranboo said, Tubbo agreeing with a laugh as he quickly handed Ranboo one of the bracelets before heading inside. They instantly held hands in case one of them got nervous, that usually being Ranboo. And he was, he was quite nervous for all the people even if he knew them. Of cause there were banners everywhere saying 'Happy Birthday!' along with the normal background party music, the music was kinda quiet, mostly because not everyone was there yet for the music to be loud. "AYEEEEEEE!" Tommys loud voice suddenly beamed, "HEY MY GAY BRO'S!" He yelled, pushing them apart to walk between them whilst putting an arm around them both. "Don't tell me you're drunk already" Tubbo joked. "RUDE! Anyway" Tommy laughed. "Happy Birthday!" Tubbo and Ranboo both suddenly said together. "YEAH THANK YOU thank you" Tommy laughed. "Phil and Techno are over there clearly, there's some people outside, you're all slightly early but that's completely fine I'm loving it!" He said happily. "That's good" Ranboo smiled. "Oh! We brought you presents of cause" Tubbo said as they both stood in front of Tommy. "For me?!" Tommy said sarcastically.

"Yes now I know you have a habit of breaking these so how about don't break these next ones, ok?" Tubbo said as they both then held out their hands, revealing the bracelets. Tommy gasped, "FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS YESSSSSS" he yelled happily before grabbing the bracelets and hugging them both, "THANK YOU" he yelled. "No problem man, just don't break these" Tubbo laughed. "Ok but no promises, imma go force Phil to stick these on me, have fun doing whatever!" Tommy smiled before heading over to Phil. "He seemed happy" Ranboo smiled, "he has always loved friendship bracelets" Tubbo mentioned with a small smile. They both then went closer to the speaker playing quiet music and started talking. "Oh guys!" Tommy suddenly said, going back over to them, "there's gonna be a banger of a surprise later" he smiled, "and food with be free in 5 minutes". "Ok then" Ranboo smiled. "What's the surprise?" Tubbo asked. "Well if I told you what it was then it wouldn't be a surprise now would it" Tommy said before leaving.

"Ok then" Ranboo laughed as he looked at Tubbo, he was slightly zoned out, "you ok?" He asked worriedly whilst holding his hand. "Yeah yeah, sorry" Tubbo laughed nervously. "You sure? You zoned out a bit". "Yeah" Tubbo sighed. "Alright but if somethings wrong then-" "Tell you I know I will". Ranboo smiled before looking at the front door as new people came walking in. The more the party went on, the louder the music got and the more the sun went down. Tommy suddenly ran over to the speaker and turned the music down before yelling, "OK CAN EVERYONE PLEASE HEAD OUTSIDE FOR THE SURPRISE EVERYONE HAS BEEN WAITING FOR". Everyone cheered as they all migrated to outside, Ranboo and Tubbo being the last ones out. "Ok, is everything ready?!" Tommy yelled over to Puffy as she nodded. "Ok, everyone count down from 3!" He yelled as they all started counting down before fireworks lit up the sky.

Ranboo watched as pretty colours lit up the sky, only now noticing that Tubbo wasn't by his side. "Tubbo?!" He yelled, he wasn't outside. He quickly ran inside, "Tubbo!" He yelled again as he went up to a door, hearing faint whispers on the other side as he opened the door and saw Tubbo sitting up against a wall, whispering to himself as he hugged his knees and hid his face in his arms, clearly panicking. "Tubbo hey, are you ok?" Ranboo quickly said, closing the door behind him before crouching down in front of Tubbo. Tubbo wasn't taking any notice of him, "Tubbo" Ranboo said again as he gently placed a hand on Tubbos arm, watching as he gasped and quickly looked at him, clear fear in his eyes. Ranboo then realised, *the loud noises, the bangs, the fireworks. How could I have been so stupid to not realise and remember* he thought. "It's ok I'm right here" he said, opening his arms but Tubbo didn't move.
