Chapter 12

Izuku continued watching Y/n as the first round of the obstacle course starts

His quirk was going haywire the moment Y/n randomly appeared beside him, he had to clenched his fist in order to contain the outburst of one for all. The h/c male was walking around with a smile on his lips which was unusual to the rest of 1-A

"He's been smiling too much lately..." Uraraka said while standing beside Asui

"Maybe he's just excited for the sports festival...don't overthink too much ochako-chan." Asui said. Uraraka just sighed and turned around after giving Y/n one final glance.

Y/n stood beside Monoma who was bragging about how his class was better than 1-A and how they will defeat them in this festival, Y/n was to busy smiling to himself as he could feel the quirk all for one gave him surged through his veins even though he still doesn't know what type of quirk it was or how powerful it can be once unleashed

Just the thought of his quirk being powerful sparks excitement within him, his eyes never leaving his palm as he watched the barely luminous color of his quirk running through his veins, the color was a mixture of red and blue

He clenched his fist and felt his eyes widened when suddenly a yelped was heard beside him, he turned to look and there he saw Monoma holding his can of soda which was now crushed, he slowly unclenched his fist and watch as the can slowly went back to it's normal shape without even a dent visible

'I think I know what my quirk is...'

He slowly turned his head towards the building where the other teachers are, his eyes landed on the large window and as if he could see the teachers in there he gave them a smirk before walking away with both hands inside his pocket

Aizawa who was currently wrapped in bandages from the previous villain attack at USJ felt unwanted shivers ran down his spine as he watched the students below them, his eyes scanning each UA students until he landed on a bundle of h/c making it's way towards the entrance of the stadium where a large amount of students gathered around waiting for the signal for the first course to start

"Eraser, do you think he can make it through this festival?" Present Mic asked

"His determination is something you shouldn't underestimate." Aizawa answered

"I don't think we're talking about the same student..." Mic chuckled as he glanced at Aizawa

"I'm talking about L/N..." Mic muttered which was answered with nothing as Aizawa continued to watch the rest of the students

Not long after Midnight have now announced the beginning of the obstacle race course, every student gathered in front of the door which was now opening creating a rumbling noise as the heavy metal doors dragged across the concrete leaving dust and marks

Y/n felt himself being pushed by the students who are excited for the sports festival, this annoyed him to the core which made him to involuntarily release a small amount of force that pushed the students back

"Ow, what the hell was that for?" One students asked while rubbing their head in pain

Y/n ignored him as he continued to face forward, his eyes scanning the students who he will race until his E/c lands on a student who's eyes are already locked on his.

Izuku couldn't help but lock eyes with Y/n, he was only a couple of feet away from the male, his eyes widened as he saw the male gave him a smirk while waving and as if every students have disappeared leaving them alone inside a void where Y/n stood in front of him but he was different from before, his PE has morphed into a what seemed to his Hero Costume

This wasn't just an ordinary void, it was his quirk one for all doing this. He was inside a trance where Y/n was dragged into, he felt his breathing hitched when suddenly a hand laid on top of Y/n's shoulder pulling him into the pits of darkness leaving him all alone, he tried to move forward but failed when he felt his body frozen in place

"STAAAART!"

Izuku was pulled out of his trance when the loud cheers from the students erupted followed by them rushing in the narrow entrance of the obstacle race course, he felt his body being squished by the students who's pushing themselves through the door

And once he was out he nearly slipped on the floor that was now covered in ice from Todoroki's quirk, he managed to balanced himself and turned around in hopes to find Y/n but couldn't due to the amount of UA students rushing through the gate

'what am I doing?! I'm too focused on L/N that the rest are already ahead of me!'

Too deep in his thoughts he felt a cold gush of wind went pass him, he turned and there he saw Y/n running pass and as if time have gone by slowly Y/n turned to him and once again locked eyes with his, Y/n's face remained stoic but his eyes held something indescribable, his lips parted

"Move."

And with that Y/n made a huge leap across the ice that Todoroki made pushing the other students back with the amount of force he created by jumping, Izuku covered his face with his arms as dust particles flew around them.

He waved his hand in front of his face while coughing once he opened his eyes Y/n was gone, he turned to the spot where Y/n was and turned back towards the front, he narrowed his brows as a fire ignited inside him followed by questions about Y/n so he began running through the ice despite slipping up from time to time

Y/n felt dizzy from the sudden burst of his quirk, he's still wasn't used to having a quirk that's why using it irresponsibly made his body almost break on him luckily he managed to stop just right in front of what Present Mic called as the first barrier which is a Robot

He couldn't use his quirk again as his body still trembles from earlier, this was probably the side effect of using his quirk excessively his body heating up, headache and feeling nauseated since his quirk is connected with his mind the side effects of his quirk will be on his brain

A loud ringing resonated across him which made him grabbed the side of his head as he felt a strong headache starting to form, the rest of the UA students who have made it towards the robot all stops and watch in awe as the machine lifts it's arms up while Y/n stood underneath it

They all yelled for him to move so he wouldn't get hit but the couldn't hear them as the ringing continued to get louder, it was agonizing and it made him fall on his knees as he continued pull on his hair trying to lessen the headache, the other students was now panicking as Y/n remained on his spot where the machine was ready to swing it's arm towards him

And as if time has gone slowly, the machine swings it's arms with full force towards Y/n they all covered their eyes in fright that Y/n would get hit and get severely injured from the impact but instead of hearing a loud crash they heard nothing, slowly they opened their eyes and felt their blood run cold when suddenly the zero pointer machine was now up in the air

They turned to look at Y/n and saw him kneeling on the ground while looking at the machine that was in the air and without wasting any second the limbs of the machine was pulled apart and thrown on different parts of the course almost hitting the students, Y/n stood up slowly and as if nothing just happened he continued running forward.
