Let Down

Tamara POV:

Its next day since we went to the river, I think we are going to stay in the house today. I get up to go in the kitchen to get some tea. I see Tejay and Jordan already there. They are on the phone with one of their friends. 

I heat up the water to make my tea and head down to Kemora's room to check up on her. I knock on the door to see if I should come in or not. She tells me I can come in and I do so. 

"Girl didn't you feel uncomfortable yesterday?" I ask 

"Kind of I just want to know why she was asking me all those questions." She says

"Me too I just didn't like how she was touching all up on me and she didn't even know my name." I say

We both walk out of the room to meet the boys in the kitchen. Kemora goes over to Tejay and picks up a tea cup that he had ready for her. Tejay always looks out for Kemora and Jordan doesn't do the same for me.

"Mi nuh like how di woman a ask mi B all a dem questions deh like she know har from long time." Tejay says to his friend on the phone.

"Mi cyaa believe seh mi did deh wid she all she do now a bare threesome." The friend says.

I look over at Kemora to see if she's listening to the conversation and she looks at me with the same look. One thing with best friends once they give each other that look they know exactly what the other person is talking about.

I take my tea and tell Kemora to come into the living room to talk privately. 

"I'm not sure I want to back around them she made me uncomfortable." I say

"Just tell Jordan that you don't feel comfortable." She says

"I did but he's telling me that they are his mother's friends and they would never do anything to me." I say

"I honestly don't think we will see them again." She says

We both look over at our phones and see that Alisa had texted us in our group chat.

*Girl pray for me right now cause today might be the day I go to jail.* -Alisa

*What happened?* -Kemora 

*My dad took me and Lauren's passport and said that we can't go to Jamaica.* -Alisa

*But I thought you said you asked him so what changed his mind?*-Tamara

*My mother she found out we was going so she told him no and he took our passport and our covid test.* -Alisa 

*That's crazy your flight is tomorrow what are you going to do?* -Kemora

*Well Lauren left the house and said she's not coming back and I will just push my ticket till February.*-Alisa

*Ok well just keep us updated about Lauren and what happens next.* -Tamara 

I can't believe her father did that, like he just said he just said they can go and now they can't. Her parents stress me out and I don't even live there. 

"I feel so bad Lauren really wants to come and have fun for her birthday." Kemora says

"Yea she needs to hurry and move out, like its already crazy enough that her older sister that is 24 can't go on dates, or is getting kicked out the house every other day because they think she smokes." I say

"Right I don't like how they give them a curfew and they are well old enough to not have one. I would not want to come home at 9:30 all the time." Kemora says

Kemora POV:

Tamara yells to the boys that Alisa and her sister isn't coming tomorrow so Tejay doesn't have to get them. Hopefully they come in February to have fun with us. The crazy part is Lauren's birthday is coming up in a couple of days and I know she was looking forward to this trip. I would be so mad if I was them. I would go on so bad they would have to really call the police.

I know that we planned on staying in tonight, but this really put me and Tamara in a sad mood, so we really don't want to go out. 

"Wah yuh wah eat today mumma?" Tejay ask me

"I want some soup." I say

"Ok I will make it, we are going to eat soup tonight." He says

This man might not be the perfect person, but he is perfect to me. He makes me love him more and more everyday.

"Come with me to the market to get the stuff to put in the soup." Tejay says

I tell him I'm coming and I go into the to change into something to wear outside. We to the market close by and grab a couple of thing to go into to the soup. I told him I will split the bill with him half way. Before we went back the house he stop at another supermarket and got some Craven-A, juice for the house, milk, cereal and Dragon.

"Do you really need to smoke Craven-A?" I ask

"Not really but it gives a little vibe you know." He say

I don't really know but I just nob my head and look out the window.

"The weed we have is running out pretty fast I have to find someone that sells weed out here I can't keep going all the way to Mobay it takes too much gas." He says

We reach to the house and I help him with some of the bags. As I get upstairs I feel a little tired so I went in the room to take a nap. One thing about me I love to sleep.

Jordan POV:

Tejay and Kemora came back from the market. While they were out me and Tamara was in the room doing the do. I like making Tamara feel nice in the bed the only thing is she can't handle it she's always running.

I love big girls cause I feel like they have the tightest pumpum. We heard them pull so we stopped doing what we was doing before they come in making a scene. 

I help Tejay unpack the stuff and ask if he needs help with the soup.

"Nah I'm good I might just ask you to keep an eye on it." He says

I take Tamara's laptop and start to play some music just to hold a little vibe. Since I gave my Ipad to my sister to do school work I don't have anything else to use. I can see that Tamara doesn't really want me to use the laptop as much as I do but I really don't care. If you are with me you need to learn to share. Anything that is yours is going to be mine as well.

2 hours later and the soup is finished, Tejay had went to take Kemora up so she can eat.

I shared out Tamara's bowl while she's in the living room changing the song. The soup is kind of thick, because Tejay had put Okra in. He had told me to keep an eye on it while he took a shower and I forgot about the soup and the Okra boiled out into it. 

Tejay shared his and Kemora's bowl and we all went into the living room to eat. Everyone finished their soup but Tamara.

"You don't like it?" Kemora asked her

"No its too slimy." she says

"Oh that's because of the Okra. I don't like Okra but the soup does taste nice so I didn't even think about it." Kemora says

"Nope I'm not eating it I'm sorry I'm throwing it away." Tamara says

She walks over to the kitchen and throws it in the trash. I look over at Tejay and I can tell that he was upset, but he doesn't say anything. I wonder why he doesn't say anything. Maybe he doesn't want to be mean.

Tejay POV:

After we chilled for a little bit after we ate. We went into out rooms for the night. I can't stop thinking about how Tamara wasted the soup. Jordan really let her throw it away and me and my girl paid for those things to make the soup.

"Kem I know that Tamara is your friend but I feel some type of way how she threw out the soup." I say

"I know she could've just ask one of us if we want it. I already don't have and neither do you." she says

"I'm going to talk to Jordan about that cause he just sat there like he don't know how to talk and he don't pay for nothing." I say

I pull Kemora close to me and close my eyes. I love when I'm close to her she feels so good when I hold her close. Not everything is about sex yes its feels good, but it feels so much better when you are cuddled with you the person you love.

I can't wait to see what is in the future for me and Kemora she brings me so much happiness and peace.
