Last House

Kemora POV:

We all had to wake up a little early so we can check out of the house that we are staying at. Me and Tejay already had a talk last night about the little argument that we had so we are fine now. I can still feel like Tamara and Jordan don't want to talk to me, but I just don't understand why when I never had anything with them. 

"Can you help me bring my bags to the car Tejay?" I asked

"I always help you Kem."He says smiling

He takes my bags to the car and I go in the kitchen to find something to eat before we leave. I see Tamara come out her room to the kitchen and sits next to me. 

"Girl I forgot my sandals at the other house in Sandy Bay we have to go back." She says

I'm not sure if she wants me to ask Tejay to bring her to get her sandals, but that's not my problem I already have all my shoes and clothes. Plus that is not the direction of the new house we are going to. We are all cool with each other now she should have no problem asking Tejay to get her sandals. 

"Girl just ask him if he can stop by there to get it." I say

Jordan walks by and doesn't say anything to me.

"Good morning." I say

He still doesn't say anything. I'm not sure if he heard me say anything to him or what, but they are sure acting weird to me.

Tejay says that he is ready and all of Tamara, Jordan and Tejay's bags are in the car. When we get in the car and leave the Airbnb Tamara tells Tejay that she forgot her sandals in Sandy Bay.

"Bwoy dat sound rough." Tejay says

I look over at him to see if he was being serious. He was but he tried to play it off so he doesn't come off mean. I know he's mad because he is the only one driving, and they feel like they can use him to bring them where ever they want.

"So does that mean you can bring me?" She ask 

"Yea I can bring you but not today because we are not going in that direction." He says

"Yea maybe tomorrow we can get it." Jordan says

"Or maybe when we are going to Popeyes again." Tejay says

I'm not sure if Tejay is ever going to bring Tamara to get her sandals. 

The next house is in Rhyne Park. When we get there the gate is locked. Since Tamara had booked this place with Alisa, Tamara had to call the owner for her to open the gate for us.  I got out of the car with Tamara and waited with her while she called the owner. 

Jordan and Tejay was sitting in the car. The sun was really hot and I started to rethink standing outside with Tamara. I went back into the car with the guy where the A/C is. 

Tamara came back the car and said that the woman didn't know we was coming today so she will be here in 30 minutes. I  don't understand why every time they book a house something goes wrong with it. 

"Mi go turn off di A/C cause mi nuh have nuff  gas fi keep di A/C on fi 30 minutes." Tejay says

I tell him okay and he gets out the car to smoke. Jordan and Tamara do the same. Since I don't smoke I just stayed in the car and relaxed. I started to think about the pill again and I really decided that I'm not going to take it and I will have a conversation about it to Tejay.

"Kem your not going to come out the car? Its hot and you will get darker." Tejay ask

"How black can she get shes already blacker than black." Tamara says

Jordan stands there and starts laughing.

"Aye cool yuh self black is beauty." Tejay says

I don't say anything, because I don't it to make it seem like I'm popping off for no reason. Tamara always does these little jokes for attention. She thinks that if she brings someone down in her jokes it will make someone like her. Its not the first time she talked about my skin color. Just because she is a little lighter than me she thinks she can joke about it. I don't really care though because I'm still cute.

The lady ended up coming to let us in, she tells us that she is not the owner. She is the friend of the owner. She forgot that we was coming today so that's why she wasn't at the house. We take our bags out and help the boy bring them then inside. The lady shows us around the house and its pretty nice. 

As you walk in there is a set of stairs that meet you. Passed the stairs is the living room area, and when you walk through the living room in the back is the wash room. They don't have a dryer which is fine. Once you open the door there is a line in the back to hang your close. Next to the living room is the dinning and Kitchen area. Next to the dinning there is a bathroom there. Once you go up the stairs there is a room to your right. The room has a nice King size bed with bed post on it. It also has a balcony. I already knew that Tamara chose that room, because Jordan was in it. The room to your right is a cute smaller room. it has a small little balcony that only one person can fit on in there. The first room to your left is another small her room that has a balcony and stairs to go on the roof top. The last room to the left is a bigger room like the first one. It doesn't have a balcony, but that is fine. Me and Tejay chose that room. It had a really big bed also. At the end of the hall there is a bathroom.

I close the door behind me and I sat Tejay on the bed. I really want to talk to him about the pill. 

"I need to talk to you." I say

"About what the pill,If you need me to ask the guy how to take it I can ask him if you want?" He say

"Yea that's what I wanted to know I just forgot how to take it." I say

"I can ask we just can't have sex while you do though." He say

I don't know why I froze up and didn't tell him. I don't know what has gotten into me I just feel really sad lately and I don't want to speak up. That's not like me.

He calls the guy and ask him how to take the pill. When he gets off the phone he comes over to me and gives me the run down again. I leave the room and check on Tamara. I tell her that there is a roof top and we should go up there. Even though Tamara might get on my nerves she still is my bestfriend. Sometimes you and your friend might argue but at the end of the day you guys are always friends. 

We go on the roof and its so beautiful we can see the beach and everything. I tell Tejay to come up with us and see the view. He comes up with us and we start talking about buying a house there and living comfortably. Me, Tamara and Tejay always have good talks. Jordan is always in the room on Tamara's laptop smoking and listening to music.

My mom calls me and tells me that my grandmother's brother had passed away and they are doing his funeral in Jamaica soon. I tell them that they should come with me to the funeral. Tamara agrees to come and Tejay says he will come because I'm his girl and he will support me. Tamara tells Jordan about the funeral and he says he's not going because he doesn't mess with that area. 

"Well you wont be alone Tejay say he will come." I say

"Nope I'm staying home you guys can have fun though." He says

"Alisa can come too because she will be here in time for it." Tamara says.

"Hopefully everyone can come. I want you guys to see what a dead yard is like." I say 

I always tell me friends about a dead yard and they say they always want to come. so hopefully they will have a good time.
