Chapter 46 The Little One
"It's normal for her to get easily tired. Given the situation, she may experience more symptoms in the future. But all of it is normal." I suddenly heard the faint voice of someone.
I tried to squints my eyes open only to get blinded by the lights above me. Everything is white. It took me some time for my eyes to finally adjust to the brightness of the room.
"Send me all the information I need to know. I've given my contacts to you." I heard my fiance's voice this time. "I need to make sure she won't be exposed to extreme stress. I must take care of my pregnant wife."
What? Me? Pregnant?
I moved a bit, turning my face to the side. I made a grunting sound making the both of them set their attention to me. I noticed the nurse beside me with an injection in her hands. She gave me a reassuring look before injecting the liquid directly on my arm. I groaned when I felt the slight pain. Hyunjin came near me and sat down the chair beside the bed. I still feel awful and sick.
"Baby." He called, holding my hand and drawing it near his cheek afterwards.
I softened my eyes while staring at him. I don't know if what I heard was correct. But it's not impossible given that I experienced vomitting and overall unwell feeling the last few days.
"My babies." He corrected himself and put his palm on my tummy.
"Hyune," I mumbled with my weak voice. "Is it real?"
He softly nodded while hiding a smirk. "Very real."
The doctor and nurse left the room giving us both the privacy. I let out a huge sigh before closing my eyes again. Everything was so hard for me yesterday, or earlier. I don't know how many hours I was out. But the news that there's a life inside of my tummy made me tear up! In joy and happiness of course!
"I can't believe it." Hyunjin chuckled softly while kissing my fingers. "Finally, after all the love making."
I let out a slight chuckle at the same time I felt my cheeks heated. I bit my lower lip before turning my body to the side to face him better. He crept his warm palm up to my face and stroked my cheek afterwards.
"You have such dirty thoughts." I murmured, hiding my face in his palm.
Hyunjin bit his bottom lip and licked it afterwards. He gave me a smug look. "How come thinking of making love to you is a dirty thought? I remember you asking me for more."
"Now you're talking about it as if it's not an intimate topic." I grinned.
"I like getting intimate with you." He whispered near my ear before kissing my lips afterwards. It burned a passion in me making me feel a swirling sensation inside my stomach. My skin heated and my muscles weakened.
